I figured I would post this before everybody else.....

Emperor was a great game but was very underplayed. Even when it was first released it still was not very populated.

Giants: Citizen Kabuto.

Great game, brilliant plot, fantastic script, yet no one played it, shame.

But there must have been something bad about it, else people would have bought it...

I bet it was the name :P

Well it wasn't by a big developer or publisher, so it just never quite got out there.

Wasn't Interplay their developer or publisher? I think they are a big one. ::)

But the sad thing is they seem to be moving to produce only console games. Not many PC game. :(

Interplay and Sierra were my favorite companies, they produced great games.

Eithor that or they like to have that brand stamped on a lot of games.

For good, under-rated games, be sure to check out Home of the Underdogs.

Most of my favourite games are under-rated, just for the simple fact that I really couldn't care ess about graphics, which is what most games these days are all about.  Among my favourites are:

-Harlan Ellison's I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream

-Beneath a Steel Sky

-American McGee's Alice

-Clive Barker's Undying

-CyberMage: DarkLight Awakening

-Strife

-Sanitarium

tiberian sun was usally quite as dead as emp :(

:O TS owned! Especially multi-player. Firestorm gave some really good units to both sides, but i cant remember the end of the firestorm campaigns so I can't say if they were any good.

Oh but yeah, Emp never had a chance. ;)

Fallout Tactics was underrated.

Yeah, there's a lot of bugs in it and it has nothing to do with Fallout but it's still a good game.

Singleplayer wasn't much fun when the robots came, but the multiplayer is awesome. Just play 2 vs 2 match and you will agree.  :)
