Well I'm off to univeristy again (UPEI), and about 2 hours before class starts I am now looking for scribblers, pens, pencils and my $40 calculator I bought last semester.

The faculty may go on strike which would blow... they want an salary increase from $52 000 to $72 000 dollars and they also want to teach less courses each year!

They say this would eihor increase tuition by 40% or the government grant by 25%

If tuition goes up 40% I guess I can always go to Holland College... (ew)

Anyone else lazy to go to school? and ill prepared? any strikes or lockouts?

Well, my school days have long gone. Today for me was the first day at work again since 2 weeks. I can't say that I wasn't happy though. I love my work and was ready to go. Today has been real busy, which made the day go by fast.

Future advice for ya:  If you haven't slept for two nights, don't take a quick nap between classes.  You might miss two.

Yes stupid Canadian Juniors... good thing I didn't skip classes like a lot of other students did.

oh and my books this semester should cost under $200 altogether, $25 for accounting, $60 for intermediate economics, $15 for management science II nothing for anthropology (well $10 if you split it over the two courses) as long as my english isn't very expensive I'll be lucky.

And I sold a bunch of my books already. $80 for Managerial economics and $40 for organizational behavior... :D

I think I will minor in economics, only need 3 more courses. (2 at the 300 level)

The only thing i hate about going back to school is waking up so early...i have to wake up at 6 so i can get ready and catch the bus...then i have a 45 minute bus ride until i get to school...and today i lost my book for my one class...so i'm not too excited about another day of school tomorrow.  But other than that life's great! ;D

well good news is i found the book that i lost...lol...and i'm in the school library right now viewing the site.  School isn't soo bad...lol ;D

Ah don't worry about that, I completely failed all of my mocks, but then I did pretty well in the real thing.

How about starting work at 6am humm...

and doing network backups and updates at 4 in the morning.  ..as network usage will be minimal at that time...

Well, hooray.. today was my first day at school... it only sucked so badly that it was probably my worst school day ever because we had to go to school to talk about a fellow student and a friend who died 2 days ago  :'( . Well, it was good to talk about it with other friends that is pretty good i think. And we got the time to write a nice advertisement for in the newspaper to tell them how we feel...

People shouldn't die so early, definetly not if they couldn't help it

Stupid school!! My first day and i got detention i had to stay at school till 4.30pm, while i was supposed to go home at 3pm >:(

There was 1 good thing though, we got 2 soccer tables(not sure what ist called) at school, but some kids already broke 1 of them.

For the second time since school started in September, it has been cancelled. The first time was because of Hurricane Juan, but we were still able to have a provincial election on the same day...

And today it has been cancelled at 1:00 PM just before I start going to afternoon classes. Hurray!

I think it has something to do with our weather again...

http://pei.cbc.ca/servlet/Weather?query=Charlottetown&region=charlottetown&timeZone=America/Halifax

Maybe it has to do with a blizzard, gusts of 90km/h winds, and -50 windchill.

I am so surprised they cancelled it, they never cancel UPEI, holland college is always cancelled at the first sign of snow... lucky bastards.
