You should see the list of people on my contact list. 98% I have no clue who they are ???

Then delete them.

If you don't remember someone, it's either because they're so dull you've forgot them, they're never logging on anymore or they've changed to a stupid nickname.

Delete those who are doing any of this, and you'll have a nice small list.

You can also group the ones you're not sure of whether to delete or not, but you don't know them.

I have such a group. :)

I have two e-mail addresses on Hotmail, so to avoid cookie problems I open one trough Messenger and one trough Mozilla. But I don't think it has wider use. Only my sister can spend time on its chat. She doesn't know about its fatal weaknesses...

You might want to try Messenger Polygamy. It was intended for MSN version 4 and 5, don't know if it works with MSN 6.0 though. At least with versions 4 & 5 you can open multiple sessions.
