Hallo there, i have installed a German Version & German Patch 1.09 of EBFD. But i dont have my german CD's here right now. So I'm playing with the cd's of my second copy of EBFD. But it's an english version. Works all fine. Of course in the campaign it's english languare and no german. But my question is. Can this makes problems while online playing? Tried to play two multiplayer games (2on2 & 3on3) and we got both times 'no longer synchronously' .... not sure if it was my fault but maybe it's cos the differenz languages? I also played two 1on1 Games and they worked fine Some idea? Thx Greetz Sarlour

Yeah, just joking.. ;D Just tried to play the game now again :) still a great game... CNC 3 TW is better then generals.. but not even close to emp... :P But it seems you are only ~10 players left or? And do me a Favor , dont play allways the same map 8) We should play some games youko :) Well i guess the most players still playing come from America... so my problem is the time difference (+6h ) :- I want a QM :P

I have a question: I am here 10th, there are 4 players in front of me which are in ranks behind me ! This a mistake or did u create that list before the ladder finished ? It does not really matter for me but i think it is incorrect

I don`t use often the sonic tank he has so light amour but the sonic is very strong, but u can dropp him in enemys base, i hate it that it kill also your own units so u cannot use it in big groups like minos or kobras I remember to a mission in the harkonnen campagne where u find some sonics about 10 lol they fire to my scout and destroyed their own tanks. Earlier I used it for devensive it is in front and behind it a few minos and repair vehicle but normally i do not build starport

uhn i hate Ornitopter they are to weak ;D But they have a great speed, ok they can destroy bases but if some1 have a small aa devensive it should be not a big problem...

I agree when i see some ppl that build a ix centre they just build infiltrators! But a few days ago i met some1 that was allmost death he had 5 projectors and create lots of fremen, he had very much fremen then he left and u saw all units dieing also the fremen... I had never really problems with some1 who use a projector against me i normally sent 2 fedaykin that kill the units and then the projector

When i play ordos i have never build very much aa mines well have to try it :) Yes of course but that does not really help to kill gunships, but u are right ! One question : Does a aa mine destroy one gunship ? or u need 2 or aa infantery to kill it, i am not sure but i think the mine does not destroy a gunship...

Ehm Nice strategy but if i have some minos i do not let them allone i allways have fremen near to them... and drones that safe them from coming advanced carryalls. ok 9 carryalls and 9 devastators huh that cost much and took long time to get that all !! If there are not to much drones u can bring 3-4 of your devastators but not all 9 ! Of course it works but u can forgot it if some1 have many drones ... and the coming missile will be killed by my fremen ;) Well against mino without drones hehe then your devastators have fun ;D

I hate it when i do not play atreides and someone comes with many gunships, with atreides i have never problems against gunships! When gunships try to come to my base i kill them with drones before they arrive, drones are also faster... ok if some1 comes with 30 (!!) gunships u can have 30 drones a few gunships will come to your base and destroy any building but without drones many gunships can destroy your full base! With ordos i have problembs, well aa mine and aa infantery does not really kill much gunships the aa mine is good but drones are much better! Harkonnen have no antiair untit like aa mine or drone, i use soldats and missile and of course some turrets ! There is also the sardaukar elite that fires very quick to air, with hark and ord i allways use them against air attacks!

mino not good weapon lol ok laser are fast and can kill minos easy but most atrplayers will safe their minos from coming laser with kindjal or fedaykin. well i am more afraid from 20 minos then from some laser, but everyone has his own opinion

Yes but mino is vs the most units effectiv and if some1 comes with many infantery mino will be fast prometed! Yes but the missile is so weak when he run over infantery they will damage him, thats why i allways have buzz near my missile they do the work ;D

Well i think all are good ok the missile is bad vs all infantery and dies very fast but he can kill a mino with one salv... the mino is strong and very good and in groups minos are the best of the 3.. kobras also good but they just fire not so much like the mino and have to deploy for good range, they have self repair but i hate it when u have to drive through a spice field with cobras then are they sooo slow . Minos are in groups best and the missile kill a mino fast and cobra have to deploy and if u drive around the kobra it have problems but i use all of them!
