I was wondering how some of the staff members here were chosen? How does Gob meet a grammatical genius in England? How did he meet a logger like Mahdi ;) I'm just curious, obviously, as to the events that led to such members as Timenn, Nema, and Mahdi, to becoming Fed2k Staff members?

well, for me and gryphon it happened in a strange way. As a while ago, Nyar left for a moment, and everyone thought he'd be gone forgood, so they needed a new techsupport mod, and voila, Gryphon and me were promoted

Well, I came to the site some time ago, started posting out on the Forums, especially Dune Editing. Then, when alphabeta said he was running low on time, Gob put me in 'charge' of Dune Editing, and later, after a bit of a forum reshuffle, he found he only had 2 global mods, and somehow I found out one day I was one too.

The site is a forum, what you see is what you get .. there's nothing more that's of any relevance.

And you don't need to be a Staff member or Moderator to help people out. I used the special Moderator features just a few times in Tech support, and then to combine or split a topic. The actuall posts desides if you can or are helping. Being able to use those shiney buttons at the bottom has got little to do with it.

Speaking of which Mahdi, I still have the Kegstock photos, the Matress photos, and others...and that's never been enough to blackmail you with. I also have that list of Landsraad member names too, and quite possibly, the last surviving (and full) records of the Cult of Gob incidents that we tried to bury. :) So the point is everyone, despite the enormous amount of blackmail material you have, even on the global mods, its worth nothing if you don't have the photos of Gob like Mahdi did! ;D

It was funny, but to deep for Jim Carrey. He's trying to prove that he can do more then mindless comedy, and it annoys the hell out of me. The Majestic was the WORST movie I've ever seen.

Well, first off, I'm not exactly FED2K Staff. However, as a Moderator of the Fan Fiction Forums, I've got to agree with gryphon. I very rarely use any of my "powers", and they have nothing to do with my ability to help other forumers. Simply having the answers when they're needed, and admitting you don't have all the answers, is the key to helping people.

Other than that, my position is really only that of a proofreader ;) .

Board ??? We do not have a board. We have a booth, not a board. You'd be surprised how many Landsraad members you can shove in a booth.

I thought there was a tour of the Dungeon on the 5 Friday of every month following the Blue Moon. ^-^
