Unfortunetaly, I'm entering a very buisy period right now. 'Tis the end-of-year test season (which is usually not a problem), but most of all I need to prepare for the CPE (Cambridge Proficiency in English) exam that I'm taking this June.

Now, the problem is that most arguments here in PRP are long and drawn-out, and often require extremely long posts. I just don't have the time for that any more. Therefore, I have decided to take a break for a while. It will be a particulary long break: I might not be back until June the 13th or the 14th.

I will probably still post in other FED2k forums from time to time in this period, but not in PRP.

I have two arguments under way right now (in "Left-wing discussion" and "The greatest enemy of Communism"), and so I have to put them on hold until I come back. (then again, maybe someone else will take over the marxist/left-wing position for me... I'll have to see when I come back)

So, until then, farewell!

Thanks for the encouragement, guys! :)

I just finished the oral exams (part of CPE), so I had more time to post around the forums. Don't get your hopes up, though... I don't have nearly enough time to get involved in one of the large arguments for now (I'm afraid Ace is gonna have to wait a while before I can return to fight on the side of the Earth in the Global Warming topic ;) ).

Btw, the test went great! Now I just hope I can do the same in the written papers...

Ditto to that. You post better English than nearly everyone in my English honours class to whom English is their first language.

And don't worry, I shall continue to represent the voice of reason and the interests of humanity in the Global Warming thread ;).

Comrade Edric, signing back in! (well, for the weekend, at least)

Thanks for the encouragement, guys! No hard feelings over the fact that we are irreconcilable political enemies, Ace. :) You have all my respect.

The CPE written papers went remarkably well, actually. The subjects weren't hard, but not particulary easy either. I'd say I did great, but I don't want to brag... I'll just wait for the results instead. (and it sure is gonna be a hell of a long wait - 2 months!)

Now, the fact is that I'm only back temporarely. You see, I'm going on vacation to the seaside for a week, starting this Monday. Therefore I'll be unable to visit the forums (or go online at all, for that matter) during all next week. But after that, I shall resume my position as the defender of the oppressed and the exploited!

Well, I came back home yesterday, and now I have finally returned to the forums! :) And this time I'm here to stay.

The vacation was great, even though I got a little bit bored near the end. But anyway, it was a welcome break from the daily routine (and all the politics ;) ).
