Guest Mentat
Take damage from the Weirding Module? ::) Of course the Elite will! The powerful sound wave is equally good at killing vehicles and infantry. The Fedaykin's stealth lets him define the time and place of the minibattle between him and the elite. For the first shot, he could be up on a cliff firing down, so that he's invisible again far before the elite ever gets near him. Repeat until you have one dead elite. ;) That is always the desiding factor. If one side can set the time, place, terms, etc. of a battle, they've practically won it already. And that's what the Fedaykin does. ;D
Timenn
That's right, but elite will fire instead of cut-throat in that situation, maybe the computer does...
Alexander_Ordos
Sardaukar and Fremen? - No way! Chemical Troopers & Sabateur rule!!! :))))))))) But anyway if about those two - For me both are strong, but i never played with them actualy. What I realy like is a saying of a Fadayikin :The sands will run red!! cool...
Timenn
But it is quicker killing then running a while before you can enter the cliff
Ligic_Tha_Master
Alexander_Ordos...1.F-e-d-a-y-k-i-n. NOT fadaykin.2.They don't say that, it is a Harkonnen unit.
Edric O
Ever tried using elite sards to knife scouts? It's got to be the funniest thing I ever saw. The sard raises the knife and the scout runs away. Then a second later (when the sard does the swoosh), the scout instantly dies several meters away! LOLBtw, since I had only crushed the filthy Atreides of Caladan the first time I played the Ordos campaign, I just decided yesterday to load a saved game and go for the Harks. Guess what: The Hark stronghold on Arrakis had NO refineries or harvesters. ::) And I was playing a "normal" campaign...
Ligic_Tha_Master
That might be "normal'' for Harkonnen.

Timenn
Yes Edric I noticed that to, that's the reason why they don't attack you on that mission (except the programmed attacks), but the Ordos are the only one with a palace (+ superweapon) on their capitol on Arrakis... Ligic_Tha_Master
Not even bad.
Aribites
The only way to use Sardukar is to use them in really large numbers. A pack of minos wuold die in the hands of the Sardaukar. Anyway the mino is a anoying little fly the Sardaukar would be happy to "remove" it. jacobdouds
The fremen water bandits when you play as ordos are extremly hard to kill. Where as, the Sarduakar I have never had any trouble with.So my vote is with Fremen.
Aribites
Nah, sard r much arder than Fremen, who just run away cuz they can't fight proper. They have to kill from a distance, and if they get into a melee, they CHUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!SARDUKAR RULE!!!!!!!!!
House_Corrino
Sard elites are the best all-around unit in the game. They're effective against everything, have tons of armor and are very fast.
Timenn
Sardaukar will be destroyed by mino's or kobra's, when you have many Sardaukar, there are also many kobra's/mino's...And a elite if not good vs shielded units...And Arbites, stop posting if you have no new arguments, and you can't even spell Sardaukar... jacobdouds
Ah,the wonders of a small mind. Makes you wonder if these people have any education. But I find normal Fremen units easy to kill. But not the water thieves.
Aribites
I can spell Sardukar, I just couldn't be bothered!!!!! Anyway, I agree that Sardukar elites are good against everything, and could take on just about anything, including Cobras and Minotourases (which is pretty good for an infantry unit!)SARDUKAR (elite) RULE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Aribites
I mean SARDAUKAR RULE!!!!!!!(oooops)
