That's nice how USA put half of fleet against puny Iraq, when there is a much bigger threat in backyard. North Korea today restarted their reactor, possibly for production of new nuclear weapons. It would take about 1-2 months for first nuke bomb. Very deprimating, when we know the words of Pyongyang said yesterday about cease-fire...

Oh, but you see, North Korea doesn't have any oil... So who cares that they're churning out nukes like popcorn? Bush needs to destroy Saddam's invisible bombs first! ::)

EdricO, that was an off-topic spam...

But there are diplomatic talks with N.Korea. Especially they are pushing China, because Koreans want to hear only them.

N.Korea has been planing to restarting their nuclear weapons since "11 of september", they are really don't trust USA!!

The USA is making a huge mistake... North Korea is agreat threat in its reion.

Irak is isolated. If the USA would care so much of its allies then it should intervene where it is needed: not in the isolated Irak, but in the soon-to-be nuclear power of North Korea.

North Korea is infinitely more of a threat then Iraq, so sanction or maybe even force would be acceptable. But I wonder how the US plans on solving this situation. Are they going to invade? North Korea has a huge, well equiped army and things would get messy. Or are they just going to bomb the plants? Then you'd contaminate thousends of people.

GOod questions! NOrth korea is VERY DIFFICULT since they already have WMD.

This is why I support taking out Hussein now while he doesn't pack much of a punch. Waiting a few months on NK will not really change much- but their time is coming, that is for sure.

Do I smell some arrogance there ?,when you say "their time is coming",

Time for what ?

Producing electricity is a thread ?

Is there real proff that NK is actually in posession of WMD ?

NK is only rstarting their nuke program to get money t ostop like what the US did in 1996 or something "OH NK is making NUKES!!!AHHHHH! hmm ok mr. jong 300 grand worth of "supplies" and a whole new energy system and no more nukes"-cliton/bush

"ok deal we'll stop for now "-kim jong2

"what was that?"-cliton/bush

"nothing"-kim jong 2

and thats how it goes.

13,000+ artillery pieces pointed at our base in Seoul, capable of firing up to 500,000 shells into Seoul in a day. That little fact about North Korea's conventional artillery along the DMZ is courtesy of a week old issue of U.S. News and World Report, in the article titled "Crisis? What Crisis?"

North Korea is the situation we're actually trying to solve diplomatically.

north korea will be dealt with, rest assured.

but right now, France is interested in Iraqi Oil, which is why they want to keep Hussein in power. And which is why they will be the first to get involved in "post-war" reconstruction. mark my words

France and Russia just fear war will lower possibility of Iraqi paying their debts. How pathetic, like Saddam was ever paying ;D

But back to Korea. Most questions are with China, what is undoubtely strongest power in Far East. As Asiats and communists, they are mostly close to Pyongyang government. What do you think, will they lead or, at least, support some calming process here?

so? we have enough nukes to destroy the world three times over russia has nukes over 100megatons (known as the Czar) china has had nukes for a while, so does pakistan, india nad iran is developing them. NK is only being dealt with by diplomats because there is NO oil there and well bushs family gets rich from Iraq NOT NK and well we'll only give them aid to stop. >:(

oh and why the hell would china retaliate??? THEY ARE DEPENDED ON THE USA IF THEY MAKE ONE NEGATIVE MOVE HALF NO TWO THIRDS OF THERE REVENUE IS LOST.

You really can't be serious can you? And here I was holding on to a little respect for your views.

Do you honestly think that with pyongyangs history of spending his money on a huge military while starving his civilians, that electricity is his goal.

Even if there wasn't adequate evidence for his possesing nuclear weapons, I think his threats on using them qualifies him as a threat.

Gobalopper is exactly right. Because N. Korea has nukes we have to approach this situation differently to protect our allies in the region from nuclear attack. This is exactly the situation we don't want to get into with Iraq, and why Iraq must be dealt with NOW.

Posted

actually NK doesn't have nukes they will soon but thats not the problem its how its being dealt with instead of taking out kim jong "I dont know what a comb is" jong would be best in stead of tryign ot invade iraq for weapons that aren't really there and iraq poses hardly any threat right now we should take out NK then Iraq.
