You should get rid of last 10 posts link. That way there is even more room. (And doesn't go down as much on my res. So basicly save a line.)

Or would a long post title have to move down a line automaticaly?

With the 10 most recent page button it used to be a quick job keeping up with posts,and playing emp.

So I could come off Emp and check at regular intervals what if any posts were new.

Now it's become a chore rather than a pleasure,and others agree, I asked em.(how about a vote) ?

are for. Although I think those slow the server down a lot more than the 10 recent posts did. (Have to get individuals info each time, and not universal info)

And thus I liked top 10 better. :P

Both of those take less time the 10 most recent posts which was taking almost 3 minutes to load. You can't have a query that blocks all other queries for 2-3 minutes if you want people to keep visiting.

It will come back eventually but not unless it takes far less time to load.

I don't understand that,the old forum style never used to take 2-3 minutes to load the 10 most recent posts page.

So how come it does on the new one.?

It was just the query, it was optimized for MySQL 3.x while we are using 4.x. It should be better now.

I believe it is for all time. Since it was enabled again.
