Which Dune book not written by Frank is best?

Out of all of them, which one did you enjoy most? Its a tie for me between the DE and House Corrino.

I recently got the DE, and don't expect to be able to read it until next january (having to go home and all),and I haven't read the Butlerian Jihad yet either (which is why I still haven't and don't expect to send those questions to KJA for awhile yet) so, so far I'd have to say House Corinno.

Butlerian Jihad hands down, of course that's the only Dune book not written by Frank that I've read.

I liked House Atreides because it had a lot of Atreides info and ya'll gotta admit, Paulus just kicked alls ass :).

I liked House Harkonnen because a larger amount about C'tair and he was cool.

And I loved House Corrino because the Atreides beat the Sardukar

And I just plainly hated The Buterlian Jihad

Vanguard rocks the house! lol I agree, I loved the DE. It seemed to fit the atmosphere of Frank's Dune universe a bit better IMO.

am I the ONLY person who thought TBJ was an awsome book. I think my favorite non-frank book would be House Atreides, but I think TBJ comes in 2nd. am I crazy, or is it me?

I just finished House Corrino and have only read the 3 House books (aside from the originals). I thought House Harkonnen was best and that House Corrino was a little weak. I'll have to check my underfunded public library for Butlerian Jihad. What is DE? Is it by young Herbert and collaborator or someone else?

House Harkonnen or The Bulterian Jihad.

I was totally gripped by House Harkonnen.
