I rather enjoyed the SciFi miniseries. The overall look of the program was good, it didn't look cheap in the way something made for basic cable can. There is the telethon aspect of the commercial breaks, but actually it wasn't that bad. I've watched basic cable programs where the breaks were so long I forgot what I was watching. I thought the acting was a little stilted, but actually thats in keeping with Herbert's epic sweep and the fact that character development isn't really his strong suit. Overall I'd give the program a solid B and do await the continuation of the series. I must be one of the few who thought that the bombastic mess David Lynch made captured the spirit of the novels rather well. SciFi's is a lot more reverential and straightforward, but well worth watching in a television universe where court shows and Dr Phil pass as entertainment. Plus there were some NBA games to watch during the commercials.

I just finished House Corrino and have only read the 3 House books (aside from the originals). I thought House Harkonnen was best and that House Corrino was a little weak. I'll have to check my underfunded public library for Butlerian Jihad. What is DE? Is it by young Herbert and collaborator or someone else?

Can you uninstall the mod or do you have to uninstall the whole game?

Help. I downloaded the kwisy thing, however I have tried to play a skirmish 3 times and the campaign once and the status bar goes out about 90% then the game goes away without a trace. Am I the only one with this problem. Also does this mean I can't play the original game any more. Can I reinstall it in a different folder?

I barely meet the minimum system requirements to play online and have never played before. Would playing at the min make me hated and slow the game?

How huge a seller does a game have to be to please WW? Have they released numbers? With the active community for this game someone must have bought it. Unless everyone on this site pirated it off each other.

I don't know whose best but Devastator has the funniest lines.
