Mahdi Posted December 14, 2002 Share Posted December 14, 2002 With all the talk about the new miniseries, Children of Dune, we almost missed that today is the 18th anniversary of the release of David Lynch's Dune. At the time it was the most expensive movie ever made. Soon after, it would become one of the biggest flops ever made. Despite it's box-office failure it has become a cult classic and introduced a whole new breed of fans into the Duniverse.
