VigilVirus Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 message to Harkonnens[hide] We have found you to be stockpiling your spice. Since your spice production has increased over the past month we will ignore this if you do not increase it any more. [/hide]If Atreides can not come up with spice by friday, we will increase transport fees for them by 0.5 percent for the next 2 weeks.OOC - heh, .5%. That's kind of unnoticable.
Inoculator9 Posted November 13, 2002 Author Posted November 13, 2002 To GuildAn audit will not be permitted for several weeks. House Harkonnen is setting up spice production and an audit would interfere greatly.Padishah Emperor of the Known UniverseTo Baron HarkonnenI have observed Ixian and Atreides actons against you as unprovoked. I forbid war between these groups until clear acts have been made against each other. I also require information regarding your projects with House Moritani.Padishah Emperor of the Known UniverseTo Naib ShatekYour assistance of the great houses in their endeavor for spice production is commendable. I have dispatched 10,000 gallons of water to the seitches nearest my capital. Also your assistance in eliminating the Smugglers on Arrakis is admirable. But I have employed several Smuggler groups for near a decade. They bear the imperial crest on their equipment, they are to be ignored or help when ever possible. The meeting in Arrakeen will take place in two days.Padishah Emperor of the Known Universe
Andrew Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 but it kind of is, if you think of big #'s like if they wanted to wage war, that means taking more guild transports and costing them more. and it was only one harvester. but 0.5 is somewhat small. If Atreides do not make up for spice loss by Friday or do not increase spice production by the end of two weeks, there will be a 5% increase charged on transportation for another 2 weeks. Sorry, Padishah Emperor of the Known Universe, but i regret to inform you that it has already transpired,(before your post went up) and it went ok. you may ask Baron Harkonnen what happened exactly(hidden text).
VigilVirus Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 To Emperor of Known Universe:[hide]I have no important projects with the Viscount at the moment. [/hide]

VigilVirus Posted November 13, 2002 Posted November 13, 2002 Emperor of every planet except Arrakis simply means Padishah Emperor. Fremen just want to acknowldege that he is not their emperor.
GhostHunter Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 To All Houses With Fiefs Of Arrakis:[hide]We require 135 heavy bomber planes, and 75 orthinopters, with 56 transport planes. Whoever gives us this cargo will receive full Fremen gaurd on their harvesting, plus.....Our Fremen Feydikin death warriors will fight by your side for the time being.[/hide]
Andrew Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 someone else can pay the atreides spice debt if they wish, although it would show weakness in the atreides. is tma still the atreides? has been gone a while
VigilVirus Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 To Fremen:[hide]House Harkonnen is prepared to give you this if you can tell us what do you need all this heavy equipment for. It is a matter of precaution for us. Governor Arden[/hide]
GhostHunter Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 Message To Harkonnens:[hide]We need these for our personal studies first of all, second for more protection for Houses harvesters and other units, third is faster travel, forth is our own protection, and finally for any precautions.[/hide]
Dunenewt Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 The Great House Of Ix will pay the Atreides debt
Andrew Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 thank you House Ix.did you think over the proposel to make a new Heighliner design that will hold 15% more cargo?if so when do you expect it to be done?people must know what a new Heighliner design means if they read the prelude to dune books.
Dunenewt Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 We have gone over our designs and production will start immediatly
Dante Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 Message to Fremen;[hide] House Moritani regrets that our funds are currently unable to deliver the full price that you ask at once. However, should you accept the deal to take place in installments over several weeks we should be glad to add 10 of each craft to our offer. Is this accepted? [/hide]Message to Emperor;[hide] House Harkonnen and House Moritani are working on seperate projects currently, although we do share our findings with each other. [/hide]The Desert sun blasted the dunes. yet still, in the heat of mid-day, the four Harvesters rolled on by at their tasks; to reach the spire first. A massive spice blow had resulted in enough melange in one place to buy the Imperium; and thus three houses raced illegaly for it, as it was in Ixian territory. One Harkonnen harvester, one Moritani, an Ixian hover-harvester, and an Atreides harvester. So far, with increased speed, the Ixians were winning. An ornithopter hovering above sent in a call to the Ixians, "Worm sign! Worm sign! Abort! Abort!""Acknolaged." The Ixian captain sent, "Give us time to take a sample and see how deep it is." The worm got closer and closer, the Harkonnen Harvester, the slowest, was becoming dangerously close. The Fremen escorts slid down onto the sand and ran into the dunes with thumpers. The worm ignored them, and their thumpers. It's sandy trail rolled straight past them and then UNDERNEATH the Harkonnen Harvester! The Fremen watched agape as the gigantic machine lifted slightly, and then settled as the worm passed. Next in line was the Ixian Harvester, already at the spice, suddenly a call from the Ixian captain,"Abort! The spice is thinner than a Harkonnen moral code! Get us out!" But Ixian Hover-harvesters were built not to attract worms, and in this case the technology worked. And the Fremen and Ixians watched as the sand rolled by underneath them with the familiar hissing sound. The worm passed under the spice blow, not pausing in any way in contact with it, noted the Ixian captain, and ignored another thumper to make a beeline for the Atreides Harvester. The unfortunate crew were swallowed whole with their spice by the gigantic maw of the worm, and it disappeared as quickly as it had arrived. The spice blow turned out to be no more than a ruse, melange sprinkled on the desert. And still, thought the Fremen warrior who had set the last thumper, there had been no hint of melange from the worm.Message from House Moritani to Imperium; We are pleased to report a 3.2 per cent increase in spice production, long may the spice flow.
GhostHunter Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 Emergency Distress Call To All Houses:[hide] The Smugglers have got all their men together and attacked us! Our main siecth is in danger, we are under heavy attack, outnumbered atleast 200-1, repeat require assitence, reward or something for whoever gets here, HURRY![/hide]
Andrew Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 Message to Fremen[hide] We are willing not to charge you a monthly sum that you are required to pay us and we will not transport smugglers in large #'s to Arrakis, (their reinforcements) if you protect Ix's spice harvesters from worms.[/hide]To all Houses, since the fremen are the "keepers" of Arrakis, i will only charge 1/2 transportation fees to send an army there and back to terminate the smuggler threat to the Fremen.
GhostHunter Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 "WE DIE HERE FOR SHI HALUD!" The last Fremen warriors and Shatek took out thier crysknives as a Smuggler force surronded them
VigilVirus Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 The Harkonnen military hurried on its way to answer the fremen distress call. Thousands of advanced carryals carried devastators and tanks to the point of smuggler attack. A fleet of gunships and ornithopters followed them. The smuggler army was in sight. It was enourmous, but the smuggler technology was never advanced, for they did not develop anything, just still from others. The gunships and ornithopters launched their missiles at the army destroying thousands of tanks. The carryals landed in the middle of the army. The devastators fired. The smuggler army was in chaos as they were annhilated by the plasma and missiles. The fremen fedaykin came on the offensive, surprising the enemy with their fast strikes. The pathetic remains of the smuggler army retreated.
VigilVirus Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 To Guild:We demand that you stop the transportation of smugglers to Arrakis completely. Those bastards have been stealing from us and attacking us and the fremen on daily basis. Only the smugglers who serve the emperor should be allowed on Dune.Governor Arden
GhostHunter Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 Shatek wacthed as a Fremen who had lost a arm and was heavily bleeding ran after the army with a knife in his hand screaming battle crys. "We owe you Harkonnen, but I must go, I will orginize the full Fremen force, we will take care of every smuggler on this dam planet, we will pay you back later, good bye. And Shatek departed, the Smugglers fell in the distence as the crazed Fremen launched a final attack beforee bleeding to death.
VigilVirus Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 To all smugglers:Swear your allegiance to the Emperor and cease your stealing ways or be prepared to die.Governor Arden
Andrew Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 To Fremen (Shatek)If you protect House Ix's spice harvesters we will discontinue the transportation of smugglers to Arrakis in a feasible way. (is anyone portraying the smugglers?)
GhostHunter Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 What a genius you are...I am helping IX
Andrew Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 The guild now proclaim that smugglers are no longer permitted to travel to Arrakis(but of course there is always a price)We have ceased their transportation.
