i got all my songs for my CD done. yea, i know ill probably never see a dime from them, but i dont care cuz when you accomplish a goal in life, you will always be glad that you did.

most of my songs could be classified as "new age" or "film" music, so probably not exactly in line with the majority of young people in the world. but here's one with a beat to it thats going on the CD. I just finished it an hour ago. Spent the whole weekend working on this darn thing. Free for the taking. Enjoy. 8)

Could you make a cut down version please? It takes about an hour on my PC so I didn't download them but they sound really good from what I've heard.

you mean by "cut-down" as in a segment? Sure. I just finished it Sunday. After listening to it a few times, I think I need to remix it a bit cuz there are parts where the drums are too loud over the music, so I'll go home and do a remix and make a short version.

Hey man, I just downloaded the Names in the Rock MP3, and I must say I am very impressed. It's very simplistic, but also soothing and different. Very nice.

Everyone: thanks a ton for all these great compliments. I really didnt think anyone else would like my music, I just do it as a hobby. Because of all the great comments, I re-mixed the song and fixed some audio issues in there. This is a great sin in music because it means that all those old versions are obsolte. The new version is up, and its the final version. I raised volume in the beginning, added more flutes and chorus in the beginning, fixed drum volume (raised bongos, adjusted snare volume), added drum rolls and fine tuned volume adjustments throughout the song. If any of you guys use file sharing, please dont share the old version- I don't want it to circulate. I honestly didnt think ppl would like it so much, which is why I re-mixed it to a true final version. Please download the new version and wipe out the old one. I'm sorry bout that!! :(

To Usul, I made a sample of the song- I just cut it in half and gave you the last half of the song. Its still 2 MB though :O

yea, Zam, I did a lot of rhythym fine tuning in the new version. not sure I did much between those times. I think theres like a cymbol crash there. I could have put in a drum fill, but o well too late now! :P

The hard thing about doing music is that once you put a verion out there and it circulates, there's no going back. So its not like something you can really fix. I'm pretty much stuck with this latest version now. But cuz of all your guys feedback, I'm gonna go to work on another one here soon. I'm not used to writing music with drum beats. most of it is much more ambient.
