Every unit has a weakness. Laser Tank has nearly no armor, and also one hit will drastically reduce his speed. Gunship is a slow plane, good target for air drones. And Missile Tank won't fire twice.  Second Sonic tank (or another unit) will finish him because of his weak armor quickly.

Depends how fast that 2nd Sonic tank shoots. Missile tanks can shoot and move immediately after their last missile is fired. Once moving, it's quite fast so it can dodge the Sonic wave.

I agree with chaos here... and if the first missile tank is destroyed you can send a second one and you still killed 2 sonics..

If the Missile tank shot at is maximum range, wouldn't the Sonic tank die before it got a chance to shoot? The Sonic tank has weak armour too.  But yes, if the Sonic tank shot the Missile tank WHILST it was shooting its first couple of missiles, the Missile tank is doomed.

Sonic will fire, but if Missile tank fires, he will be destroyed. MT is for 1200, Sonic 1400, so you'll have a credit advantage.

Also, Harkonnens haven't good anti-armor artillery unit like Minotaurus. This vehicle can annihilate Missile Tank with one shot. Against them you have also very good Kindjal infantry.

What angers me about missile tanks is that their range is so crappy short (in comparison with Mino). Still kills mino in one salvo though.

Ehm, the mino is not so good vs armour. And even worse against buildings. Maybe if you have many it goes quickly, but they are only very powerful vs infantery. Ofcourse, everything is destructive with many

Minotaur's bullet is not very powerful against vehicles, but NOT VERY isn't UNEFFECTIVE. Main Atreides anti-armor unit is Kindjal.

Yes, the second unit of the Atreides in the vehicle/airborne section. A mech with a missile laucher. Guided and anti-air. It is ver powerful agianst armor. The best of the three basic tanks (laser/assault tank, mongoose) in that. And it is the best against infantery. Though it has the lowest armour.

Missile tanks are damn powerful if you can get minos etc to fire before they go in... but otherwise, they can't kill anything, given a decent defence.

mongoose best anti infantry unit? assault tank is faster and thus can crush infantry better.. it can also take more hits before goin down
