IxianMace Posted April 1, 2002 Share Posted April 1, 2002 As long as the Laser Tank is not hit so badly that it starts to crawl, then it should have a good chance against the NAIB tank. NAIB tanks can't fire while they are moving, and do not have a turret that can turn and fire in any direction. The Laser Tank can keep on whittling away the NAIB tank to nothing, and all throughout the fight, the NAIB tank will probably be chasing the Laser Tank's dust.About the Missile Tank being the most effecive weapon against vehicles. Okay, so the Missile Tank has a really powerful attack, and will usually take out any vehicle (except for a fully repaired Devastator, or units with chevrons) with one salvo. However, it takes so long to reload, stays still while it fires it's shot, and has pathetic armor for a Harkonnen unit. I'd say the Laser Tank, even though it does not pack as much punch as a Missile Tank, would be more flexible than the missile tank against vehicles. But I have few lasers in base and before NIAB fire, I will take it out with them. Only once NIABs destroyed them. Becouse they are moving. Deployed they cannot move, so attacking is near impossible. But for defence, they are almost as bad as most Atreides units and even the slower Harkonnen can get out of the way once it has fired to avoid the shot. Timenn Posted May 10, 2002 Share Posted May 10, 2002 Avoiding Kobra Bullets with Harkonnen units? With the Buzzsaw maybe, but their bullets are quite fast. And don't forget the high rate of fire.And they can attack perfectly. They are very good vs Buildings, so you can use the Adv Carryall. But they are quite fast, and you can send them with an army of Dusties and some laser Tanks. Remove the defense. Or keep them busy, and deploy the kobra and attack the buildings.
