If it does go, the winner could get a "lansdraad 2008 winner" custom title. I think it was hawkdog (sp?) that won the ladder tournament and got a custom nick.

Who would be up for a Second Landsraad Tournament?  I know there isn't a Landsraad per se any more, but it was the most appropriate name I could think of.  Anyway, who would be interested?

I guess I'm in.  Is it all 1 on 1's or will there be some team games also? We all know I'm not a very strong single player, but I can generally help out a partner.

I think people should have until friday to sign up and then we start making who playes who and the rules, there is alot of people i have told about this and messaged via email or dune2k messaging so if there interested they will post.

Dunenewt, perhaps you can use the wiki for information about the tournament. I know it isn't exactly meant for it, but it could be nice to have page detailing the rules and matches' schedule/results.

Yes, it could be done the same way Wikipedia handles sports tournaments I suppose.  I will email some people from the MSN list in the next couple of days, and see how many are interested.

a good idea dune would put me in charge of all the enlisting, i will get as many people signed up as possible, and if they dont show then they are eliminated, the ones that do show up and stick to there word will get a chance, there are atleast ten people i know that will play, i dont know about sixteen but im sure some will come, but my idea stands, until this friday they should have to sign up on this thread, with either saying im in, im down or whatever you might want, just so you have a rough idea, so this weekend we could talk over msn or something and set up a ladder, maybe i dont know though its all up to you man.
