So i was thinking if we could all put what type of player we are on emp maybe we could talk about how we do certain things or how we group or build etc etc, my normal style is lots of inf and tanks, sometimes i'll go air, drones, adv carry, devs etc. but thats only in long games. I like to have my sards out front in a group all the time, never scattered in my army with normal infantry, mixed with dust, buzz, trikes, I usually attack with certain groups, one group goes up one goes down one in the middle, i know alot of people just click drag and attack, and try to group up while there battling, thats why micromanagement comes into play. but its open for discussion whatever type you are just put it down and lets talk about it.

im not asking for building orders, or things like that, just seeing what people think about other peoples type of player they are. If you want to include how you form your army or what things you look at in your opponent then you can, some people are Mino people, others are straight up buzz saw people. thats all i wanna know what you like to do in battle. :D

i believe in ground units and i dont believe in defence . except vs atr drones ..

as for vs harks attack is the key i start with strong ground units(inf,buz,sards) then i start sending

gunships soon.. i never stop building and i move to a new base after 15 mins 

and try to be as fast as i can ..

if they hit my base i never defend it i hit their base and the one who dose more damage

win the game .. so what .. its time for dinner anyway .. gg see u later .. spicy

My BO and macro have never been perfect, money probs weren't that unique for me.

So I was more like a micro player (or atleast tried to be one).

- hit and run's with lasertanks.

- fucking someone's base up with gas early game (with qm settings: fog on and small maps).

- luring buzz's and then suddenly deploying mortar with sard on a rock.

- fucking all his inf with 2 fremen snipers.

- distracting mino's with a scout and then fucking them with fremen.

- ...

stuff like that i liked allot.

it are all very small damages for the enemy, but when it counts up it can lead to their defeat.

In a real battle my chances to win were less high. I mostly tried to get my army in a shape of a 'C'.

In fact I like to play macro game, my micro is not good enough.

Yea, I know what you mean ;) but I use infs just for my vehicle llfe long.I dont protect them in women clothing in a real game.

Definitely make your signature smaller. Loading 78kb everytime your post comes up in a thread is bad.

At least cut the border down on both sides and top/bottom to only show the text/graphic area.

No, try to limit sig images to max 400 pixel width and max 100 pixel height. People are here to read messages not look at your sig images.

You really need to mind your own business, if you don't like something you don't have to look. What a horrible way to live looking at things that you don't enjoy.

I just got Emperor, I've been modding it, but not much, so far I just made the Ordos APC a little less fragile. I've only been modding the Ordos side, eventually the new & improved House Ordos will be ready for the campaign mode (haven't played that yet). Once I've beaten the campaign, I'll start modding the Harkonnen, then Atredies, as well as the subfactions. I'll eventually balance them all out. I'm not trying to over power the Ordos, just making them a little less weak.

Anyways, when playing skirmish, I try to use EVREYTHING at my disposal - use all units for all of their intended(and now modified)purpose. Since I'm Ordos, I always rush with APCs filled with Engineers and chemical & AA troops, along with Dust Scouts and/or Laser Tanks.

My goal is to completely capture at least 1 enemy base ASAP, eliminating him from the battle, then force the remaining enemies, if they decide to attack me, to attack my newly captured base.

The captured base will be throwing out wave after wave of the that faction's lower tier units & weapons & tech against the enemy, forcing the enemies to focus their attacks against the captured base, and not my original one. Basically I try to get the enemy to forget about my Ordos base, because back at that base I tech up.
