Hang out with them. Get around with folks with the same interests. See if anybody else reads Dune and get them to this community. Do not start smoking if you want to remain cool.

* Wear shades, even when it's dark.

* Have curly hair like myself. And grow some goatees.

* Say hi to people you'd like to be friends with.

* If people ask you to join them in some kind of activity, say yes. Even though it involves vulgar and gross elements. (Just bring a paper bag if you're afraid of puking.)

* Don't suck up to people, even though that works. Let them suck up to you. But there must be some sucking back and forth anyway. You have to be active.

* Be outgoing or at least contain yourself in an area where there are potential friends. You get no friends by sitting at your room reading books. Internet friends aren't real friends either.

I guess that should help you on your way to get your first friend! ;)

2. Be honest

3. Don't do drugs

4. Don't smoke

4. Do NOT have sex with anyone if you dont want to.

5. Do NOT have sex with anyone who doesn't want to.

6. Do NOT have sex with someone who is in a relation.

7. Have safe sex

8. Do not punch first.. only if they try to punch you, you can avoid colission with a fist an strike back

9. Social gathering is indeed a good one, but you need to study to!

5, 6, and 7 are all unnecessary if you remove the latter half of 4. Don't bother with any of that stuff - it'll make your life a whole lot easier.

Don't mess up. The pressure is on you. Everyone is watching. One mistake could make you an outcast. For the rest of your life.

your at school to learn. No to party meet girls or great new friends. Just keep that in mind. You are there because you want to and you want to learn.

Talk about medical experiments that can be performed on babies, and then move on to just torturing them for fun. That's how I made my friends.

This could be interpreted as 'having the same interests.'

I think I went on the most pub crawls at my university of 3000 students. That's a good thing right? And I still got another year. har har. Wonder why they call me pub crawl king (especially that time I gave free booze to everyone on the pub crawl)...

Sadly the more I drank and partied the better my grades. My highest grades were when I was an alcoholic. Wierd eh? (note: alcoholism is bad, and you do get the shakes once you go off a two week binge)

I believe 9 tshirts (I designed one), 1 toque, 1 bandana, and 1 random uninvited pub crawl = 12 pub crawls, on 3 different societies (although societies team up with other societies, so I've basically been with all societies)

They say that university/college is the best time of your life. I think it is true for most people. Meet tonnes of people, party lots, learn lots, lots of fun.

I don't remember blendering any babies though  ???

Best way to make friends? Be yourself while finding out if they are worth being friends with. I'm the kind of guy who is fine with just a few close friends, but if you're not then finding people (typically within your major/department for similar interests) is easy when you live on campus - you'll be in contact with so many people all the time.
