I wanted to know if the members of Fed2k had any opinions or theories on who shot JFK? Was it who the government said - Oswald? Was it the government? Perhaps unknown crime figures?

How can we ever be sure now? Is the Zapruder home movie enough evidence?

I'm doing a report on it now, and my opinion is that the investigation by the Warren Commission was grossly negligent and premature and more questions were left unanswered or outright filled with lies. It boggles the mind who could have done this.

Oswald shot JFK. Anything saying otherwise is just pure conspiracy theorist bullshit. And yes, we did go to the moon in 1969. But you are right, a clearer report would have convinced people better, but there are always those nuts who insist on the contrary either for money and/or attention.

Well, to stir things up a bit... In the stills taken on that day and with the Zapruder film, certain things are yet to be figured out. For instance, two unidentified men were supposedly found behind a grassy knoll in some of the stills. One was named Badge Man and some say in the picture that was taken just as the president was shot, there is a puff of smoke and a flash.

Also, when the president was shot, the Secret Service agent next to VP Johnson immediately reacted and put his body over the vice president. In the caddy of the president, the two agents in the front seats reacted strangely. When he was shot, the car slowed down first, almost to a stop, and then took off. The first agent to actually get to the president and his wife was outside the car and had to jump onto the car while it took off and cover the two with his body.

I'm not out for money or fame, but the truth. There may be a conspiracy, there may not be. But one thing's for certain, there is a lot of mystery in this.

I'm quite sure that I have read in numerous places that the conclusion changed from just one man shooting Kennedy, to at least two or three persons.

Then we also have the "magic bullet" theory:

Why was he killed? For the very same reason a communist would be killed if he entered a redneck-bar in Texas during the 1950's.

I know little but:

I heard that too much people died just after by "accidents" and whattever. The statistical probability that all these witnesses die was just ludicrous (worst than lightening striking or such).

I don't know what the Zapruder video is worth, and would be curious to see how professionals analyze that. I read somewhere that the first time it was put public, something else was shown in its place. But it comes from a source as crappy as sources get.

To see why he might have been killed, someone understanding politics and such seriously would be needed. Not simplistic views not considering Machiavel and such.

There was an inquiry that said there was a conspiracy ?  ::)

I agree with Akri, there is so many funky happenings, notes being destroyed, doctors notes destroyed, autopsys not being held according to law, where they should, things being bungled...dodgy to say the least.

Nobody will click on my link?  :'(

I was expected to be flamed actually...now I just feel ignored  ;)

You want me to download an executable program and run it ? Not being sure where it has been ? :P

No thanks. I did however, click the link.

Yeah, I read about the direct witnesses being killed (18 of them in the year proceeding the assassination). Some of them included a "karate chop to the neck," "slit throat," and gun fire. That sounds very fishy to me. Who the hell kills someone with a karate chop?... lol

Anyway, I downloaded that anathema but I have yet to play it. I'll let you know when I do.

You do of course realize that those articles are among the most likely to be biased and inaccurate in the entire wikipedia database? The degree of bias in a wiki article is usually proportional to the number of fanatics, preachers and quacks attracted to the subject of that article. And few things attract quacks like the JFK assassination.

One thing is for sure the trajectory of the bullet came from that depository window. As far as the magic bullet theory, well bullets especially high powered rifle bullets take  some strange paths when it hits something. For instance, once when I shot a deer during hunting season with a 30.06 rifle I hit the deer as it was facing running toward me at a trotting type of a pace. The bullet hit the chest area, but exited through the right bottom of it's back leg. I just find this magic bullet theory total crap. I believe it was Oswald wether hired or not...he was just a damn good sniper no doubt about that.

I am aware that Wikipedia is free for anyone to edit, and I know not everything is true. But the single bullet theory is nothing new.

Of course. But some things in history stands out more than others - like the killing of JFK. There are just so many things that are questionable about the whole things that it simply stands out.

Of course all kinds of things can happen when you shoot a bullet. The question is wheter you believe a bullet can turn in mid-air, and then fly back into the designated target numerous times. And then, of course, appear without a scratch.

Are you on a mission from G-d EdricO? Seems poor ol' wiki's getting it in the neck from you all over the place. ;)

Well, last time I checked I had... *goes to check*... 5829 edits on 1511 distinct pages in wikipedia. I am among the 1000 most active wikipedians. And precisely because I am so active, I know wikipedia's flaws and I am very critical of them.
