Right now I am not getting points anywhere! EA has issues and isnt getting points updates, some people say they are having an argument with Gamespy who run the stats servers. Idiots.

I dont care about unlocks and I would like to play with you without them if I have to. I often wait for space on my servers, even though I can ask them to kick, I dont think that is a good idea, I just wait for up to 15 mins (record so far!).

Get xfire or teamspeak or something, I wanna play with you!

ill check on u from time to time.. and if u playe good u will get points

and have a couple of unloacks eazly

SON-OF-A!! No wonder. I played about 9 hrs. the night before to get my next promo. And it should've rolled over to next rank. When did this shit start?  :'(

Well unless they use mods I have a chance without any unlock. That goes for Erj. also.

And please don't say they don't ever have them on that server because on the XCU server, they don't ever use them. Well members that is but, they find and post them all the time with the screenshot of the cheaters that come and play on it. Amazing how many there are that cheat or use mods rather and thats just on 1 single server.

Man....EA has got to be getting some really mega hate emails due to the no stats by the ton's, I swear to God, if they don't get it up soon I will never ever buy another EA game no matter how great it is. I'm hoping it's not a ploy to get you to buy 2142. I hear their stats are up and doing just fine. I just find it hard to believe that EA doesn't have the bandwidth to support stats, if that is the case here. Morons.

Well, the way I understand it...

DICE made BF2. EA sell it. EA thought of ways to screw customers (as they seem to do with every game they release). They decided to get gamespy to host the stats servers (everyone knows how stats heavy BF2 is). They must've thought the bugs were bad enough, and if not, something bad will turn up, it always does.

Well, no gamespy don't seem to be accepting stats. Some have said it is probably because ea don't want to pay them. EA are farts.

BF2412 works ok on stats because I have heard that they are themselves hosting the stats servers.

People are becoming paranoid that they will lose their stats. I dont think that will happen. I think that if anything they will never be updated (damn !!) which is bad enough. Obvioisly the stats servers are "up" as I can retrieve my stats, I get my unlocks etc...etc... Just new stats are ebing rejected. I hope they are being kept aside and will be added later. I doubt it though, I think we will just lose stats for the outage period.

Question is...how long will the outage period be ? Forever ? >:D

decided to close down the house (joking) ..am sure it will be back in few dayes..

This was my reply from EA about the stats being down via email:

"EA Customer Support is currently aware of a stat outage which is affecting several players. We are working extremely hard to pinpoint the cause of the issue and correct it. EA|Dice, EA Customer Support and all the Battlefield Partners are dedicated to making sure that your game play experience remains exciting and that your hard work is recorded while playing Battlefield.

While every effort will be made to include stats gained during the outage, there is a possibility that those earned during this brief period will not be reflected in your final stats total. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and apologize for the inconvenience.

Update: As of 6-22-07 we are still working on this issue and appreciate your continued patience. We will update this FAQ again as soon as we have additional information."

"If you wish to receive a notification of any changes or updates on this issue please click the Notify me.. button at the bottom of this page."

I like how they said,"several players" in the first sentence, haha more like several thousand. ass-tards. I would be willing to bet if something like this happened to World of Warcraft there would be mass suicide.  :P

@Spicy, I tried yesterday to join that server after turning off all my filters and using your IP address for that one you play on but it didn't connect. Is there some password? or what.

as you see in the monitor or when you tried to connect there is lots of peapol in it..

they have the same game as you actualy i just had a game and i came in 2 place

i don't know what is the problem maybe coz its in Europe can u try once more later?

Scar it works. Did you check all the map sizes and the "no vehicles" in the filter section?

I got in but I won't be puting it as my favourites. It's a 64 player and you have all the unlocks that you unlocked in the ranked servers. I havn't noticed any mods. :-X

Now I only stayed there for 2 mins to see for any mods that this server has but whilst doing this I got team killed twice deliberatly lol. My own team m8 saw me from far and ran me over. What does this mean?

I smell that old name tag problem. ???

there is no mods there.. its the classic server... i dont know about the team kills thing

i never have it.. maybe just some goffy lil boy joking around.. when u playe with me some other

time u will see haw good the players are..

Thanks mad,I didn't try that but I did uncheck all others. I'll give it another shot.

And Spicy,here's the thing. Unless you have a screenshot of what all other players are seeing,then it's very likely there are cheaters among them. You would be amazed at how many cheats are out there.

This is from XCU server take a gander at some of the cheats out there and how many are just in this 1 server alone that they find(thank god). Kudos and then some to the one that catches them. http://xcuclan.co.uk/phpBB/viewforum.php?f=29 The good thing is they get busted and never return. All those posted there are just on a single server out of tons of others, makes ya think eh? This is why I love XCU clan, because if you even attempt a cheat/hack your ass is banned forever.

Ok, I'm on the server right now theres only 1 other guy in the game.

dose xfire page players that are ingame??

because even if i saw u guys ingame  i cant join ure servers

there is no mods there.. its the classic server...

scar i mean by mods the modding or moded servers that doesn't run vanilla bf2

i don't know about cheaters  think cheaters dies just like the rest plus they lose

the original game look and graphics for some stupid addons 

antik server have plenty of admins playing most evenings

well scar add me to xfire. i had few games with erjin yesterday

i don't know what he thinks about my skills but looking

at the scoreboard we were so close to each others..

but after all his not used to the server like i am..

he talked to me on the mic and it felt strange to hear him after

all this time..well he sounded younger than i expected..
