Is that a hint of anti-Russian paranoia in the air, or is it just me?

Tell me, Jack and Davidu, if it was YOUR nations who got invaded by foreign armies bent on genocide, wouldn't YOU want to make sure that after you pushed them back, they wouldn't try to invade you again?

In 1865, General Sherman's army marched through town, burning and looting. The church would surely have been burned by the rampaging boys in blue, but quick thinking church leaders set it on fire first, preventing its destruction at the hands of the Yankees. It was rebuilt in 1867.

Oh! The great American liberators are coming. :D

And Edric: I'm against any Empire! Soviet, American, Chinese and so on.

Anti-Russian paranoia? No... anti-everything paranoia. :P

That was just great Davidu, I loved it!

Okay what comes next is not a joke, but it should be. During the war with Iraq, I was watching a Bush speech live. Finally when he meant to say "We shall restore peace to this country of chaos" he said "We shall restore chaos to the country".

Hehe. That reminds me of a wav file I have. Bush is talking in Nashville:

"There's an old saying we have here in Tenessee - I know it's in Texas; it might be in Tenessee: Fool me once - shame on...

:O

...shame on... you.

:O

...*Stuttering* we can't get fooled again!"

Saw this on another board, it's one of those 'oh my god is that really true?'

Note: I have no idea if this is doctored, so I make no claim henceforth!

LOL it has to be fake Acriku. Funny though! That's the best cereal box parody I've seen since the Earios (like Cheerios) with Mike Tyson on the box.

And yeah Chretien is the Prime Minister of Canada...unfortunately...

What do you mean "unfortunately"??? Without him, we'd be a boring, pathetic, weak country. Now we're a funny, pathetic, weak country! Booyah!

I've always seen him as being like Zaphod Beelebrox from HHGttG - the President of the Galaxy, whose only role is to screw up, thus drawing attention away from the real powers that be. ;)

Why would you want that? His second head was brain-dead. It would just be extra weight. And wasn't his extra arms also pretty much useless? ;)

And on a serious political note: Do you think Jean Cretien has enough poopoolarity to win another erection? ;)

I dislike the man, he's a fraud. He says, "Sure, I'll gets rid of da GST" and what does he do? Combines it with PST to make a HST (Hella-stupid tax). When people call for his resignation he says, "Sure, I'll gots to resign, in 18 monts"

He makes a mockary of our nation :'(

Nah, we don't need a revolution. Not against Cretien, anyway. He'll be dead soon.

Besides, old Jean's pretty good at defending himself. Hust give him an Inuit statue, and he's a force (farce? ;)) to be reckoned with!
