The folks who crashlanded and gave Kane tiberium, or whatever?They are something like Talones in Earth final confilict ( except for the part they do not show themselves that much).Anyway C&C3 is a hoax. The Westwood is decayed too much to produce good strategy games. I would really like to see the sequel of E:BFD. Or any dune strategy game made, based on the story of thinking machines. Wolf Posted June 28, 2004 Share Posted June 28, 2004 I love the cut-scene of GDI mission 10, with that Mammoth Mk. II stomping through the Nod Banshee testing grounds. Rail guns blazing. Tanks smashed underfoot. I think I'm going to play GDI TS/Firestorm all the way through (currently, on GDI TS #11), and then do it all over again for Nod. Both campaigns are excellent. And after so much GDI, Nod is pretty refreshing.EDIT: I wish they had some sort of cutscene access for TS and Firestorm like they had for Emperor. They want to colonize Earth, but for some reason choose to avoid direct confrontation. They sent tiberium on Earth in order to "terraform" (or rather, tiberiumform) our planet into a copy of their own homeworld. If you've read the Firestorm manual, you know that tiberium is creating a whole new biosphere and making life impossible for indigenous terran species - including humans. In one of the Firestorm GDI movies, it is mentioned that the atmosphere of the Earth was going to become lethally toxic to human beings IN A MATTER OF MONTHS. So, by the time of Firestorm, Homo Sapiens is an endangered species. CABAL was probably meant to carry out the final phase of the Scrin plan - the extermination of the last remnants of mankind. The Scrin planted their human agent, Kane, to ensure that humanity would stay divided and that humans would be too busy fighting each other to deal with the tiberian threat. But the GDI/Nod alliance at the end of Firestorm shattered the plans of the Scrin. United, humanity was able to defeat CABAL - and, most importantly, it managed to unlock the secrets of the Tacitus. This means that humans know everything about tiberium now, and they probably also know how to destroy it and reverse its effects.Therefore, the Scrin have failed in their attempt to tiberiumform the Earth, so they will probably resort to a more direct approach and launch a full-scale invasion. This means that they no longer need their former agent, CABAL/Kane. So the 3 sides in Tiberian Twilight would be:1. The Human Alliance - the union of Nod and GDI2. CABAL/Kane, abandoned by his former Scrin masters, and looking for vengeance on both the humans and the Scrin3. The Scrin, launching their invasion of Earth.It may even be possible that after the humans win the war in the original campaign, they will launch a counter-attack on the Scrin homeworld in the expansion pack.
