DukeLeto
Of those, probably the Le Clerc or the Challenger II. But the US M1A2 is surperior to any of those...
Dunenewt
Lmao. It's nothing compared to the Challenger 2! Ask anyone who's been in the armed forces especially someone who has come from Iraq.
Dunenewt
For those interested however, here is a link to the Abrams:http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/m1-intro.htm
DukeLeto
Ask anyone who's been in the armed forces especially someone who has come from Iraq. There aren't many M1A2 tanks in Iraq - The older, more vulnerable A1 model is still the most prominant.http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/systems/ground/m1a2.htm
Dunenewt
The Abrams armour is also a copy of the Chobham armour developed for the Challenger 1.
lowzeewee
The Tiger 2 tank. :O If I could vote for any tank other than those 4 you listed, the following would be what I would have posted:Not the strongest tank around but I vote for the Bionix IFV. It's still a tank! Fighting for contention will be our locally-designed and made 155mm Self Propelled Howitzer.http://www.one35th.com/bionix/bi_spec.htm and http://www.one35th.com/bionix/sph155_spec.htmIt is designed and made in Singapore and has a dull and bland yet cool and unique sleek design. It is made smaller and lighter[weaker though] than other tanks of its type, so as to increase its speed.I always like small tanks... :)
d3m0nger
US T-

Caid Ivik
T-95 seems to be a good project, tough I'm not sure if it's more powerful than allmighty Merkava...http://www.mainbattletanks.czweb.org/Tanky/t95.jpg
leo
Definitely Merkava.

Dunenewt
I second that. :) Do you think someone could make this into a proper poll?
Dunenewt
I was going to put the T-95 in my list but as its future is uncertain I decided to go with the T-
Anathema
I'd say the Leopard 2 tank is the best, followed by the Challenger 2. It's a good all round tank with low maintenance costs. It definitely depends on what criteria you use: armour, affordability, maintainability, mobility, firepower... exatreide
An Abrams could eat it for lunch....but it was the best tank of ww2.

Dunenewt
Bah, lousy mechs :PChallenger 2 beats Abrams anyday. The T34 was the best ank of WW2 easily unless you're looking for the super-tanks, of which only a few were made.
exatreide
Tigers could eat t-34's exspeically the king tigers
Dunenewt
Yes but 10 T34's would stuff a Tiger, and at the rate a T-34 was produced, combined with its price and reliability, the T-34 is a better tank. The German Panther tanks were based on them.
