shygirl4
The estimate for the number of different species on earth is somewhere between 50 and 100 million (2003 estimate) and humans are at the top of the intelligence pile, so there is no reason to speculate that any other planet out there like earth as a similar number of species, and I would like to think the odds are in our favor for finding intelligent beings like ourselves. gryphon
ok. . I agree with that Apollyon.Although I am not a religious person. . mayby the one exeption might be if we would find God out there. . . ;)
Apollyon
so there is no reason to speculate that any other planet out there like earth as a similar number of speciesActually, there's every reason. In 100% of known inhabited planets, there have been found the same number of species as Earth. ;)
Procyon
Have you heard about the Frank Drake ecuation? With this ecuation we can know how many civilizations exist out of Earth. This is a teoric ecuation, because we will never know the exactly number of the components of the ecuation.N = R* x fp x ne x fl x fi x fc x LN: number of comunicative civilizationsR*: number of stars in formation (like our sun)fp: fraccion of these stars, that have planetsne: number of planets like Earth per plnetary systemfl: fraction of these planets, where life existfi: fraction of these planets, where inteligence existfc: fraction of these planets, capable of comunicateL: life time of civilizations capable of comunicate

Emperor Harkonnen
I think that aliens exist. but I do not believe that any other sentient life than humans exist. this I base upon the religion of Christ. and also that in dune humans are the only inteligent beings. Necroticon
Anyone in Sydney, Australia who claims to see a UFO is wrong. Its not a UFO. Its a garbage bag, held open with wire, and with several "tealight" candles in the middle, for floatation. Fill it with hot air (ie from a hair dryer) and let go. The candles keep the air inside hot, and the bag floats away, glowing very slightly...I myself have let off at least a half-dozen of these... Love em! ;D

But according to the bible there does not exist aliens. I know you are going to ask where in the bible it says this, and to answer this, I have no idea.
