depends on the units.

in HW2 I like black/white (with a white maltese cross) or red/yellow.

in CnC genersl I like red for china, regal blue for US and either a green or tan for GLA

in SC I like red/brown for zerg, tan/green for protoss, and blue/black/grey for terran.

Lol, I love pink for Emperor when I'm Atreides just to piss people off. Big, bad Vilgent with his badass Atreides...and his pink...But I tend to pick blue and then red, probably followed by green or yellow.

Haha, I got a good laugh from this. So true..haha..

Wheheh, than you were doing it wrong as Alterac was Orange :)

True, but Alterac was weak.

I remember I once made a single player map called "The Battle of New Stormwind" where you played the yellow "alliance traitors" who were hiding in a forest, and you'd have to attack the corrupted kingdom of New Stormwind (white).  Not to toot my own horn or anything, but it was a pretty good map, as I recall.

In my mission, they were just as they were described - Alliance Traitors.  That's why I made them yellow.  That, and I'm quite fond of yellow.

You see, to the corrupt king of New Stormwind, they would be nothing more than rebels hiding in the forest.  In my map, you're attacked by a searching gryphon almost immediately (you have enough archers to easily take it out, but you'll probably lose a few.)  It makes sure you're on your toes from the get-go.  ;)
