Marines taking snapshots after saddam capture

It looks a bit fake...the marine and Saddam's face picture textures and quality look a lot different, and besides,he was awake when his hideout opening was being opened up,carrying his pistol.

Lowzeewee, who says Saddam was sleeping? His eyes are slightly closed, so either he's blinking, he's exhausted from hiding in a hole, or perhaps he's getting accustomed to the light after being in the hole for that long. Either way, there's no indication that he's sleeping in the picture. Also, what would be the motive? There's no underlying political message, and we have pictures of Saddam after the capture, so what could possibly be accomplished by doctoring a picture?

The picture background has GREEN GRASS? :D

um sorry to burst your bubble but there's grass in Iraq, well reeds and such. Irag is in the craddle of life and the tigris and euphrates rivers make the land near them quite fertile, Iraq is 20 or so percent ariable

Don't believe everything in the CIA's world factbook. . according to them . . well. .

major European producer of illicit amphetamine and other synthetic drugs; important gateway for cocaine, heroin, and hashish entering Europe; major source of US-bound ecstasy; large financial sector vulnerable to money laundering

No wonder the whole world thinks we are all drug addicts. . . and the US intelligent agencies have been wrong before.. . :-X

1)  You weren't there.

2)  As a few people have said already, just because his eyes are closed does not mean he's sleeping.

And I think it's pretty sick that they'd do that.  But that's just me.

No I was talking that I had seen actual pictures of the hole.  And I never saw any greenery at all, it was right next to a damn house for christ sake!
