Assaulted and threathened

I didn`t posted in this forum since november, because in 18 November, I got assaulted by four guys with  guns and knifes. Then I and my family were trapped inside a small bathroom for 1 hour, where I couldn`t move or they would shoot me. After they went out of the house I fought to get out of the bathroom (with my hands tied and the door closed outside with a table). These guys stole a lot of things like my computer, DVD players, a TV and lot of electric things and jewels of silver and gold, clothes, and they also stole the two cars. When we were free, we called the police (but obviusly these pigs came after half an hour). We don`t know nothing yet about these guys, because the police is useless.

Who had a similar situation? or some other bad experience?

Man I hope your insurance replaces most of your lost goods, it seems they grabed what was good and left.....

I hope that those terrible men get caught for what they have done......

After this experience, I noticed that the insurance sucks, because they will pay only 40% (or less) of the cost of each stolen product (because of its age use or is an old model).

The police are also useless, because they don`t know nothing about it and are divided in different areas like Investigation police, civil commission, tribunal, etc. and they don`t cooperate each other as they should. Today the criminals have more rigths and freedom than  decent civil people.

These criminals also threathened my young brother of only 7 years old with a gun, and when I was tied (my hands tied with my ankles, and my legs together, I was the most tied of my family), I was hit with the gun`s breech and kicked by these bastards. These guys knew everything about my fathers, they knew that both were medics, and they tried to kidnapp my father, because they had a friend that had a bullet in a leg. But my father said that he was a pathologist and that he doesn`t make surgery.

If they had legal weapons, they would be easy to locate.

Obviusly ilegal weapons are not allowed, because Chile`s government don`t worry about it. Our president only worry about stupid treats with asia, usa and europe ; and don`t worry about delinquency .  And all our problems are increased because we are located near even worse countries like Argentina, Peru and Bolivia, which now wants a portion of land near the ocean.

In Santiago, yesterday, one old man was assaulted and used his gun to defend, but accidentally one of his bullets hitted one small kid, but he didn`t died. Obviusly the delincuents escaped and now the old man must go to jail.

I know that the police won't do much in some cases. Although having going through what you just have is auwfull. Hope you and your parents are ok now.

Just like everybody here I hope you're all fine now. In some cases though, there isn't much the police can do, nomatter how much everybody wants to see the crime solved.

My goodness, what an awful ordeal! While our gun crime situation in the UK is worsening, it is, relative to the rest of the world, fairly safe. But we troo suffer from the legal phenomenon that "Today the criminals have more rigths and freedom than  decent civil people". You have my sympathies.

GODDAMNIT THAT MAKES ME ANGRY >:( i am really sorry u had to go through such an experience, i hope u find those sons of bitches and cut there heads off, sorry but i have been robbed like that never assualted, my house was broke into and people stole tvs vcrs, jewelry, and guess what noone was convitcted of anything, i really feel for u man and hope u are secure, get a dog, i got two now so if they bark i get the gun well i am sorry to hear that and hopefully u are ok, gl mate ;)
