i didnt do that, it's just a quiz that predicts we all will have those areas set as the default first choice, where most of us are weird and will have odd animals and contries stored up in our heads. most of us here are NOT in the 98%. we are psychos, we are. plus, how is one specific combination really going to be 98% when people have such diverse intellects? can you really expect 98% of the people to choose that? i say the 2% will choose that, not the 98%.

2% here!! a carp in the dominican republic eating a pear.

isn't the standard work hours in europe lower than that in the u.s.? like, my dad works 8 hours a day like the normal lackie. that's 40. i heard in europe its like, 6 hours a day. but im in america, where the public are misinformed around every corner in order to herd us like little sheep. what we know is only what the politicians have told us, and all they tell us is bent truthes meant to control us. that's why im in japan now. (in my mind.) anyhoooo, 67 hours of ACTUAL schoolwork would seem a little harsh. i think we usually only include time spent actually doing things. blegh. and if you actually spend that much time on school, you go to one fscked up school, my friend. like prof.satan's school of hellery.

hey, ya know what? I don't deny one bit that we would put in a puppet governor to help us. I don't think that's the reason we did it, is all. we'd have to be total idiots not to try and gain the oil advantage though, wouldnt we? there's nothing wrong with it. Now if what we do when we get our little oil gain set up hurts the people, then that's wrong. but i strongly feel that the result of this will be a benifit for both sides; the people or iraq dont have to deal with sadamm's sadism, and the immense poverty, and we dont have to deal with sadamm and we get oil. i think the understanded setup for the future is we get cheap oil, and all the money goes to humanitarian aid for the iraqis.:P -

yo dude, where along your life did the lines between RTS games and real life blur so badly for you? these are LITTLE KIDS, WOMEN, OLD GEEZERS!! NOTHING BUT INNOCENT PEOPLE TRYING TO STAY ALIVE!!! REAL PEOPLE, FOR GOD'S SAKE!!!. not some little avatar and useless 1's and 0's, this is an actual human life. people like you should be forced to live over there and provide soem scumbag a human shield before you go and say this stupid shit. and did i ever say that we wanted to be policemen as a nation? hell no, but we don't have a choice. we took responsibility, unlike some other countries, and this is what we get for it. -

this is the way it allways goes. the U.S. twitches, and someone from every other nation in the world is ready to bitch about it. you complain and complain and complain about what were doing in iraq now. a few years before the war you heard nothing but how unfairly people in other sections of the world were being treated. when the US come to make things right in parts of the world, do they rejoice? no, they find a new reason to hate the US and its citizens. whether or not anyone anywhere else wants to think it, no, to BELEIVE it, the US is the policeman of the world. it has allways been that way since after ww2, and that is inevitably the way it will be. not even by choice, but that's the ass groove we got to sit in. -
(rules: just like a normal RP, the story will be pretty guided by me, and will seem on the fly to keep things interesting. don't make your character too powerful, give him or her reasonable limitations. try to focous on one attribute, like strength or speed. jace is an exception as i am da storyteller. 1.no killy the other players. 2.no hijacking non playable characters or that sort. 3.dont go against jace or you will die. 4. i have the option to kill you at any time if youre being unreasonably retarded, but i really dont see that happening. nawp. 5. try to keep it somewhat serious. 6. i reserve the right to add rules to the formula as they become nessesary.) just so you know, i'll be playing the role that might be referred to as dungeon master in D&D. I am to be playhing the role of jace, an elven mage of unreal power. the setting is the island of new zealand, as inhabited by the english anachronistically. there's a pub in the distance, and jace walks slowly through the streets in his white robes. "they'll be here soon... the warriors the runes told of..." jace turns, and sees someone coming in obvious warrior attire. jace quickly dissapears, and watches as the warrior enters the square. "yes, they will have all recieved the summons, and surely they will meet here tonight if they place any value in this..!" jace reappears as a cabbit at the warriors feet. he looks around for others to come... (note! anyone can be the one guy. i needed him to start.)

time is indeed NOT absolute. time isnt even existant. time is the measurement of decay and movement of matter and energy. it in and of itself is not an object, it is not tangible in any form, it does not have any basis in the physical realm. but somewhere along the lines scientists forgot that, and they started mistaking what time measures for the measurement. and i do beleive a famous german scientist proved that time is relative. e=mc2, i beleive. due to times' non-existence, but its existence as a measurement only, it can never end as it had never began. also, someone far back said that physics is just THERE. what basis does he have to believe in something so completely intangible and unbsed? sounds like he's taking one unjustified beleif for another. to believe something came out of nothing? ludicrous! :P its kind of funny, he was saying that it just has allways been there, and allways will be. are these not, more or less, the exact same words god gave? i dont have the old testament quote, but more or less, you've just paraphrased the bible and replaced god with physics. you have no more justification than the cristians. i cannot see the wind, but i can see the effects of the wind. in my life, i have come to beleive that there is a wind blowing me my way for some purpose. i used to curse god for my diabetes. now, i thank him, because i can never be drafted and i have a higher tolerance for cold temperatures. also, i have a higher tolerance for all the WICKED piercings im getting!!! :P

i think jefferson was talking not about christianity, since he was a member of a cult, also known as the free masons.

ahh, it truly brings a tear to my eye to see some of this. a happy tear. this is, by all accounts, one of the most collected, constrained, conserved religious argument ever. maybe there's hope for this yet. :_) oh, and when'd you join tana??!! incase you don't know, the japanese money guy (me) is jaemin. :P

so yeah, the argument seems to be a perpetual loop of misunderstanding. let me clarify; dude1; if giant gnat was the greatest possible being, would you worship it? dude2; the greatest possible being could never be a giant gnat due to the fact that, upon being the greatest possible being, (assuming such is a defined level) the greatest possible being could not be a gnat. and upon being the greatest possible being, (assuming such is a defined level) such would be omnipotent. dude1;but it's a gnat. dude2;but it couldnt be a gnat. dude1;but pretend it is. dude2;but it couldnt. dude1;but pretend it is. dude2;but a gnat cant be the GPB. dude1;but pretend it is. and so forth and so forth..... bah humbuckers. -
it's been a while since i was anywhere outside a single thread in fanfic, and it saddens me. but i think i see a sort of logic behind creating this board, as exatreides put it slightly differently, (paraphrased) this serves as iscolation to people who would throw these arguments all over the other boards. now at first, that seems sort of a mean standpoint. but think about it; the point of a debate is to attempt to convince the other side. politics and religion are the two things that people are the most deeply unmoving in. i, as an agnostic, am standing on top of the giant concrete wall you are all reinforcing in place of the pickets and laughing. how many of you think you will ever change your position on politics or religion? how many of you can honestly say youd be just as content with being proven wrong as if you were correct? the whole point here is to take the arguments of either side to logic, to consider them, not to shrug them off and start a petty flame war. but that is how it allways ends up, isn't it? the religious all refuse to consider any kind of atheists arguments, and the athiests refuse to listen to the religious' arguments. if you people would play devils advocate when you step in here, or at least take into consideration what the other has to say before you try to disprove it, this might just be a productive place. I hope you can try to be more open and wise about this place. there is no fence up my ass, gob.

(revision; the tao fleetships are only near 1/2 mile in length. 3/4 is too SDF-1 like.) the tao fleet silently flew threw the vacuum of space, completely silent in its movements. the taoists dedicated to manipulating the chii (spiritual forces) chanted in unison at the back of the ships. the conglomerated 5 thought amongst themself (not a typo, sort of a pun), planning and predicting what would occour when they reached their sacred homeland, earth, terra, gaia, whatever it had been referred to through the ages. it didn't matter. the name of such a powerful planet was unimportant; what was was that the tao mantic return to the birthplace of the life energies. for he who controlled earth and her sisters, controlled the fate of those who don't. the time has come... the tao mantic glided silently through the asteroid belt. /////////////////////// as jae's wet, glistening body---- oops! finish this l8r!! //////////////////////// status remains the same for numbers. oh, and id like to point out that our resources are not infinite, they are simply gathered on the fly. if there is nothing around, then we dont have anything.

with the destruction of the confederacy, the kikai is gone. with no american confederacy, japan never fell to rise as the kikai. japan simply was destroyed as a faction. in its place lies the tao mantic. the tao mantic is a clan of mancers, or mages of the ancient taoist ways. they do not hold any homeland, they roam the universe in a single fleet of huge vessels. no engines humm, for they are pushed through space and waters alike by the tao forces. they do not eat, they gather the energy of life around them. they harvest the spirit energy (non-lethally unless they want it to be) from any living thing they can, and survive only on such. they can traverse anything in body, for they can envelop themselves with a magical shield. they must project their own life energy to uphold it, therefore it can be destroyed. a single tao warrior commands not troops, but automatons, by manipulation. he is plugged into a 5 legged suspension tank, which he also controls. a single warrior can hold up 2 dozen of the automatons with his own magical energies, and they resemble mechanical crabs with blades in place of claws. a warrior can release magical energy remotely through the automatons, in the form of a bright green beam. automatons generally fight by tearing the enemy, be it ship or man, to pieces. they are constructed by taoists, who use the tao powers to convert the scrap metal from battles and ore from the planets into useable gears and such. the tao leaders are 5 men who command from a mysterious, spherical ship at the back of the fleets. they act as one mind, and have reached such a level of ascencion that they are as one. the tao fleet, which has roamed the galaxy for a millenia, is somewhere outside jupiter at the moment. /////////////////////////// the 5 ascended thought in unison. the time has come. the time for the earthplanet to be reclaimed. reclaimed by those that have known its secrets, by those who have mastered its energy. the time has come. the tao mantic has come. the tao mantic fleet was roughly 50 vessels, (the number 5 is mystical, it is uesd a lot here) each 3/4ths of a mile in length. on each vessel were 50 dropships, no more than pods with a claw at the base, and long cords reaching from the top. on each dropship were 5 tao warrior command vessels, no more than 12 feet tall, and 50 automatons. the entire population of the tao mantic rode in these vessels, aside from those that had settled on the sisters of earth 500 years ago. skuld, urd, and belldandy, the so called sisters of the earth due to the fact that they were all spawned from the same energy. the settlers cultivate the planet's magical energies and reside on the planet to live in peace, or to join their brethren on the fleet when the day comes. the tao mantic fleet rode past one of jupiter's moons. /////////////////////////////////// jae walked slowly down the hall, the three tied tails of hair on her right hanging down past her shapely breasts. she was 21 years old, around 5'7". her left cheek bore the marks of a powerful mantic, a black stripe just under her eye and another rising up from her neck. the ancient, traditional taoist kimono and bottom she wore flowed well over her curves. her eyes were piercing green, her hair jet black and draping down to her waist. as she walked, she seemed to move fluidly, like her silk clothing. she held her hands together just a few inches from her chest. she turned left, opened a door in the hallway, and entered a small chamber. inside was a man, same age, 6'1", and obviously not as powerful as her. "welcome," he said. jae slipped her kimono top off slowly, revealing her flesh to him. her lips gently uttered her words seductively. "ready?" she slipped down the kimono bottom. ////////////////// tao mantic is approaching earth orbit, destination at 0% and rising 25% per post. resources are gathered as needed, and the tao energies exist in everything. no need to post such. numbers are subject to change for automaton force, but at moment: fleet is at 100%, 50 vessels. dropships are at 25,000. automatons are at 125,000. tao warrior command units are at 12,500. tao warriors are at 30,000. tao hiten (elite warriors like jae) are at 500.

no, i beleive that the spice is the only relevant mineral on dune. without it, dune would fall. ol' frank made a book series out of it, and this is its fansite. apperantly that formula works well in stories, wouldn't you say so?
