What are Your computing habits?

Are You in a strange pose while behind the PC?

Do You eat or drink something while behind the PC?

Do You have a special chair or something while behind the PC?

Et cetera, et cetera.

I myself, am quite boring - just sit on the chair like a happy camper. :D

Though I sometimes like to put my legs on the table and be laaazzzyyy... :P

You?

I sit in my office chair with my feet resting on the computerchassis in a cross. I usually drink chocolate milk in front of the computer.

Oh yeah, come to think of it - I drink my all-time famous Cup of Joe, when behind the PC. :)

bad idea man. one day, you're gonna lose your entire System for drinking in close proximity to it. i know you may think: "that can never happen, i am always really careful"... but one day someone is gonna get shot outside your window, or a swarm of cockroaches is gonna suddenly emerge from out of a forgotten corner of your room, or a burglar will break into your house - at the very least, *something* is gonna spook you into accidentally frying each and every Circuit you have unless you change your ways.

take heed, from this day forward, no longer drink anywhere even remotely close to your computer.

Me.....I sit in one of those white plastic chairs. Too cheap to buy a computer chair :).

I usually rest my feet on my huge ass subwoofer. Always have coke near my mouse for easy access. Sometimes I rest the keyboard on my lap to type. lol thats what im doing now. Putting the feet up on the desk is also a normal postion.

So then i can surf the net and chilllllll at the same time . 8)

Edit: Also when I am on the computer and am wating for something to load or just waiting for something in general i spin around and play ps2 from a cross the room. Gotta love the long coard on those ps2 controlers.

Ah. Navaros, let me explain. ;)

First of all - my PC is safe and sound under my table (so basicly coffee can only get there if the laws of gravity can be defied somehow).

Second of all - my speakers and monitor are far too far away (so coffee can only get on it if it is poired horisontaly).

Third of all - I'll give some kind of an award to a person who can surprise me from the window (I live on the 5th floor ;))

Fourth of all - the only thing that could be damaged is my health and my keyboard. But I usually enjoy my coffee silently, hugging the warm mug. That means - the keyboard is slided under the table for that time.

Hope that clears things. ;)

E D I T

-Clicks the "Post" button, feels proud and drinks a Cup of Joe-

-Glug, glug-

-Poirs accidentally down-

ACK!

...

-Whistles and makes it seem as if nothing happened-

:P

I pace a lot while stuff is loading.

Oh, and on every full moon, I go out and hunt humans for their pelts. Err... but that doesn't happen in front of the computer, so it's not important.

Why post that question on the board when you could just whisper it out your window. Don't worry; I'll hear it. Heh heh heh hah hah hah!

Well for starters, I multi-task a lot. I might be designing a map, creating icons, modding, or listening to music while I'm waiting for something to download. Sometimes, I might be browsing 3 forums simultaneously, although I never stay at all 3 for very long.

I sit against a pillow on my wooden collapsable chair ::), since sitting on a hard chair for 5 hours straight can make your backside hurt...

I tend to eat near my computer, but try to avoid drinking near it. I have a habit of rubbing the sides of my mouse with my fingernails to scratch off the grime and dirt that accumulates over time (it's unavoidable, no matter how clean I keep my hands :P). That's just about it.

I rest my feet on top of my wonderful black marble desk, I drink root beer/seltzer/hot chocolate/coffee/orange juice and eat pizza/chinese food/toast.

I occassionally read while things load, I watch the sci-fi channel throughout, and I'll often write down something in my book while things load/download/post.

strange habit eh?

1. I like to hit my head on the desk when something goes wrong because of me

2. I like to hit the printer, which is already broken anyway

3. I like to lay my head on the keyboard and sleep

4. I like to kick my computer (which is under the desk) when it's passing out

5. I have the bad habit of singing the songs along in my winamp list, or sometimes even in games.

6. I yell at people who kill me in games :) . Especially when it's a cowardice kill.... or when i'm chased by someone and he's damaging me, i start jumping and screaming ouch, ouch, ouch, ouch... get the hell off my tail rabbit! (well in dutch ofcourse)

and the strangest of all.... look at my picture, and my most used program.... that's what i do when i'm connecting to the inet, or downloading stuff :) and i'm damn good at it[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

I do everything at my computer!

Nine times out of ten I am holding my guitar and whenever I stop typing, I'm playing. I tend to write my songs sat here cos I type faster than I write.

I eat my meals here when Mum isnt around to make me eat at the table.

I listen to music, I read books, I do my uni work. I sit here whilst on the phone!!!!

I'm pretty much moulded to the chair!

I spend a lot of time verbally abusing "Connie" (the AOL woman face/ voice thing) cos I swear she hates me and has an evil vendetta against me and my computer.

I dont think I sit funny though... however, I guess typing around a guitar isn't a "normal" way to sit!!!
