Expose Your Gaming Directories, Fellow Forumers!

Don't know if this has been done before here (mmmaybe), but it's always fun to see others' gaming directories.

Let's make this a fun topic - pictures and comments (oh, and please do refrain from unconstructive and negative comments, it's all a matter of taste, now, is it). And let's also refrain from showing off, allrighty? Let's just see what games we have. It's not the matter of life and death who has more. :)

And for people who don't know how to take an image of Your gaming directory, keep reading!

"HOW CAN I SHOW YOU MY GAMING DIRECTORY?"

You go to Your gaming directory, hit the "PRINT SCRN" button on Your piano, go to PAINT or ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 7.0 or some other PICTURE EDITING PROGRAM and PASTE the image there. Then You SAVE it, and UPLOAD it to a HOST.

Simple as that. If You don't know a good host, then the other forumers can help You.

Don't have a host to upload a screenshot to at the moment, so no screenshot. I also don't keep every single game in the same main directory. ;)

(yes it's safe) Go there and make an account(no highercase letters!!), write down your password and name on a note.

Wait 5 minutes, then go to: ftp://ftp.polarhome.com:751/ once it's loaded right click and log yourself in(no higher case letter name!), go to public_html and upload it IN public_html not outside!

There, now it's uploaded, right click on the image you just uploaded >> properties and tick in everything (too lazy to explain what to and what not, you can't hack an image anyway)

Now you can view the image from any website in the world, to find out its url: it's http://www.polarhome.com:753/~(yourname)/(image's name+proper extention)

If you've made a directory, for example images in public_html and your name is ixianmace and your image's name is ixianmace.jpg then the url would be: http://www.polarhome.com:753/~ixianmace/images/ixianmace.jpg (no higher case letters in the bolded part of that link)

i do not put all my games in one directory because that makes everything major pain in the rear when you're trying to patch your games because you have to go fishing, manually, each and every time whereas if you just install each game to the default directory during Setup then patching is a breeze

Cool. My friend (30 year old game collector) has about over 200 games installed on his HDD at the moment.

It is not all. On E: I have the largest games: Warcraft 3, Jedi Knight 2, Quake 3, Emperor, Tiberian Sun with own additions and also my Evangelion movie collection. It was thought to be a vast empty space for video making, but as we don't make them much, I found a better use.[attachment archived by Gobalopper]

Paradox, isn't it? ;D Also MechWarrior 4 and MechCommander 2 are over 1 GB. Whatever, these games (with Dune 2) were first installed on my computer.
