The Vrancean agreed with the military pact. They will not request any military aid for now, as they can stand up against the Yetis.

Oraganization programmes were started all over the territory: roads, tunnels, water purifing centrals, energy plants, factories are beign constructed to support the war but also to make the other populations inside the borders content.

Also intense military training has begun so the soldiers will always be in the best shape.

The Central HQ has made a bold decision: the cration of an expeditionary force. This is to be sent into what once has been the republic of Georgia on the other side of the Black Sea. The Sea is now filled with small islands but that should'nt represent any problems. The fleet is under construction and the soldiers are training.

A new mobile Mobile Artillary unit has been created, and the army started to bring the new units into service to replace the old ones.

Therefore Clan Vrancean has 5000 Mobile Artiallary units Mark I for sale. The price is 10 gold bars each.

The Kodiaks had decided it was time to make a move and help the Vranceans drive the Yetis out of Greece. A devision of tanks, Kodiak type, and Crushers drove from the southern part of Italy to Greece as the sea between those parts was now dry.

They reached a yeti encampment in Western Greece, and caught them by surprise. The hovering Crushers, positioned on top of a hill, fired their long range missiles in the middle of the encampment, damaging the turrets and other buildings. The Yetis quickly moved to counter attack along with some hover tanks and enemy artillery opened fire on the hill top, taking out some of the Crushers. The Crushers fell back and the Kodiak tanks moved forward. As soon as the Yetis reached the hilltop they fired their massive 120mm cannons, taking out several of the Yetis and most of the hover tanks. Within minutes the enemy force was decimated, and the Kodiak tanks moved to attack the artillery units, who quickly chose to retreat along with the surviving Yetis.

The commander of the operation, major Krakatov, smiled. They would establish a firm staging base on the ruins of the enemy camp, and then they could move on east.

The Vrancean thancked the Kodiaks and now their allies attacked the yetis in Greece, the Vrancean HQ considered they could retreat some of the troops from Greece and to sent them to the Eastern Front, unoffically known as Menumorut Line.

The Vrancean sent messages to all the Clans they had contacts with:

"We are preparing a great offensive in the East, to drive the Yetis out of Europe. The plan is to fight them off to the Volga and them even further to the Urals.

We request troops in order to carry out this offensive as we should. The Clans that would send troops will be rewarded."

To support the yetis, the pyromaniac clan, moved to the yeti boarders to re-enforce thier lines.

This was going to be a bloody war........

"We will wait for more troops to arrive and then we shall start our campaign. Tha vastity of the Russian steppa is too big for our armies to sweep alone."

The Vancean forces grew larger and larger as recruitments were made in all the territories. Also, defensive structures were erected near the front, to act as a real border.

The Vrancean started to build a fleet as well. These will be special ships, designed to break the ice and advance without any problem on an icy sea.

The yeti armies looked from the safety of Crete at the European armies moving into russia, the thought of the attack puzzled them. The captains sighed and turned back to their work. A plan had been devised, using thier missiles the land that was africa was to be frozed, very slowly but eventualy the cold had of the Icenx was to take the old area.

The artilleris shot thier new bridges of ice to Afrika while the yetis destroyed the bridges to greece, they laughted at the flailing civvilians on the bridge, falling to their cold and pitful doom.

Bog sat at the greecian coast. 'Damn' he thought, the yeti high command had abandonned him. He dryed his eyes as he turned to the oncoming horde. 'I must escape..............'

As Nilog walked down to the center of the mountain Anjelia disappeared and then reappeared with the Viscount Sorcere at her side, his arms tied behind his back.

Nilog smirked and continued walking. Soon he entered a large chamber with a huge tree growing in the center. A tree that dwarfed even the ancient redwood trees.

"This is Yggrdisal. The ceter piece of our myth and religion. It is what we have been searching for for centuries."

"Yggdrasil. The beginning and the end." The Emperor Sorcere quoted while his son fidgited in his bonds. "It's quite a monument... But how? No tree this size has ever been spotted in Britain before, even in such a cavern as this." He paused. "Come to think of it, no Sequoia have ever been spotted here either..." He glanced at the redwood and shrugged.

"Yes, so you've found it. Big whoop." The Viscount muttered, "What good is it going to do us? It's big, but it's wood. It's mythical, but it's still a tree!" The Emperor slapped him. The Viscount gasped, and then glowered. He made especial note of that perverse woman with Nilog. She would have to be watched. He glared at her.

The Vrancean would not wait another moment... with the troops of their allies and their own troops they marched through the russian steppa. Little opposition from the Yetis. Too little. As they advanced according to plan the Sercret Service has announced the Central Command that the southern Yeti army along side with the other Yeti armies retreated to Crete in order to cross to Afryss.

After their objectives were completed, the Vrancean rewarded their allies: Emperor Sorcere (Dust Scout) would receive the Baltic States (estonia, Latvia, etc) Finland and a part of Russia. As for the Vrancean, they took the southern parts os Russia and the Caucasus.

The Black Sea was almost an internal sea.

Troops were dispatched to the south, to Greece. They would attack Crete and will follow the Yetis in Afryss (africa). But first the transoprt fleet had to be ready. The Russian campaign helped them somehow - the Vrancean found the plans for the Soviet Nuclear-Powered Ice-Breakers. These plans would prove very useful.

Despite the irony of the Pyromanics allegance with the Icenix armies of the Yetis, they supported there cause and started to employ gorrilla tactics against the opposition. This included the use of suicide bombers and assassinations. They were not making life easy for their enemies.....

With the Emperor away, the General recieving the message from the front of the battle at once sent off his thanks as well as a supplementary group of fighters for the Vranceans. The Batic states, Finland, and part of Russia. Good ones!

Message to Nilog from General Yuri of Sorcere;

We have aquired land in Europe and Asia. Our armies are on the way, but we shall not get there on time. We request that you move in from Sweden and Norway to guard the territory for three posts until our army and build crews arrive. In exchange for this favour, we shall freely give you the old country of Finland. Do we have a deal?

The Vrancean troops in Russia had to confront with a new situation: guerilla attacks. So, now they started to sweep the land and to look for these hidden enemies. Also, a propagandistic programme was initiated, so the natives would give away enemy positions volontarely.

Even so, the Russian steppas became unsecure. So, local militia groups were created to help the Vrancean army.

The yetis were clever, they had devised a way to take out the evil euorpeans, but it would take time.

The armies set out to the ice world of russia, to strike their enemies

The fleet of ice-breakers was ready. Now the Vrancean could sail anywhere and invade any land.

As most of their troops were staged in the Balkans ready to enbark on the fleet and invade Crete, the Yeti army striked the Russian lands advancing from the Caucasus through Georgia and Armenia. The small number of Vrancean troops along side with the Native Militia couldn't face the Yetis. SO they kept retreating slowly inflicting as much casualties as possible into the Yetis.

So the troops in the Balkans were embarked, but the destination was another one. The fleet was to be split in two: one part would land in Crimea and aid the Present forces in stopping the Yetis' advance, while the second part would invade the Caucasus and strike the advancing Yeti army from behind.

The Vrancean ask for help to their allies: Clan Kodiak and Emperor Sorcere. The Emperor owns Northern Russia while the Vrancean rule Southern Russia. If they won't take action their fiefs would be invaded as well.

The Kodiaks decided it was now time to press forward. Today they would cleanse southern Greece of all remaining Yeti activity, though the bulk of the occupation force had already been wiped out. Kodiak tanks steamrolled over the country and scared off the survivors to the north, where they would no doubt be finished off by the Vancreans.

Meanwhile, on the north-western coast of Italy, construction of a fleet of transportation hovercraft had been completed. After hours of loading, the behemoth hovertransports left the docks, carrying a vast battle group consistant of various units, mainly tanks. The hovercrafts would take them south- to Africa.

Message to the Vancrean clan:

[hide]We are setting out to engage the Yeti forces in Africa. If you however feel that you require our aid in liberating eastern Asia we will asist but we will consider any land that we liberate as our own, including Africa.[/hide]

The Russian lands belonging to Caledonia Sorcere are quickly surrounded by a perimiter of minor fortresses, each connected by several ways. The Southern border is heavily guarded, but only scientific activity is taking place along the Northern border, where little is happening. Meanwhile, the Baltic states are secured along with a 'corridor' of land leading from the twin peaks in Switzerland.

The Sorcere Empire can no longer spare troops to give to allies. We are spread too thin over a massive landmass. In five posts, our military will be adequate for a counterattack; after one more, we shall once again be able to resume trade.

The Vranceans mobilised all forces in Russia to stop the Yetis, while waiting for the sea reinforcements.

"We will be sending our allies the battle plan as soon as we wipe the Yetis out of Europe"

Sorry about the misunderstanding Davidu. I'll edit my last post.

The first of the hovercrafts finally reached the coast of Tunisia. where they carried out the battle plain laid out for them by Central Command. A swarm of Hawk choppers lifted off from the hovercrafts and attacked the defensive perimiters. Enemy AA installations opened fire on the swarms and took down dozens of them, but that didn't prevent them from being overwhelmed. Now that the landing site was cleared, the hovercrafts moved onto the landmass and unloaded their cargo. Hundreds of Kodiak tanks moved out and destroyed everything the choppers had overlooked. While the engineers started constructing supply depots the tanks moved into all directions to clear the immediate vicinity of enemy units.

In a few hours, other transport vessels would disembark in Algaria and Egypt. After that, the battle for Africa would truly begin.

Back at mount Khalis, engineers start development of an upgraded version of their main battle tank: the Kodiak mark II.

Nilog looked at Viscount Sorcere. He shook his head.

"Tell me. If this tree is wood then why can't it be cut? We have even tried diamond saws and they can't cut this tree.

All the power in this mountain comes from this tree. This tree doesnt need water or sunlight.

It needs nothing to survive except our prayers.

And if you touch this tree I swear to the gods that I will make you regret it Viscount!

Nilog gave Viscount the cruelest stare anyone had ever seen and the Viscount let out a small peep and then wet himself.

(occ: cmon people you have just been threatened by a man who looks like he could break you in two without sweating and your arms are held behind your backl by a woman who could kill you without you knowing it beforehand)

Nilog let out a smile. The day was turning out well.

'Don't touch the tree, don't touch the tree, don't touch the tree...' The Viscount Sorcere thought as he felt the damp warmth run down his trousers. His father was smirking! Smirking while he, the heir to the throne, was humiliated! Bad things would happen, oh very bad things would happen...

The Vrancean armies in Russia received their relief forces and now they prepared for a counterattack.

The second army korps in the Caucasus split up in two. One part would guard the mountains and the other would push north to catch the yetis in between, so destroying the whole army.

The yeti army was therefore caught up in between, with little chance for rescue. But the battle wasn't over.
