dont get me wrong, I dont like this president too much. Still though, he hasent committed any american crimes that would count as a "high crime". Also, a majority vote from the people (2/3s I do believe) can impeach him and then the senate would either keep him in or finish him off. If that happens, then a snowball truly does have a chance in hell.lol Silly people try to fight but wont get anywhere.

Bah, if you somehow manage to get 2/3 of Americans to stand against Bush (which will happen as soon as pigs grow wings and migrate south, no doubt), then why bother just impeaching? HAVE A REVOLUTION!! ;D

And btw, I completely agree with this:

President George W. Bush, Vice President Richard B. Cheney, Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld, and Attorney General John D. Ashcroft have committed violations and subversions of the Constitution of the United States of America in an attempt to carry out with impunity crimes against peace and humanity and war crimes and deprivations of the civil rights of the people of the United States and other nations, by assuming powers of an imperial executive unaccountable to law and usurping powers of the Congress, the Judiciary and those reserved to the people of the United States.

Also, I want to express my admiration for the people who are undertaking this campaign. They are living proof that there is still hope for our world. The American spirit of freedom is still alive after all!

Long live the American people!!

Not supriseing cansidering you support a Goverment were the people have no say.

Perhaps you should be "controlled" along with the rest of the people by evil dictators. ::)

Are you kidding, Ken? Why on Earth would I ever be against this campaign? It's a campaign for IMPEACHING BUSH! It obviously has my full support!

And Ex, what do you find so unusual? I am a communist. I am always on the side of the people.

Are you out of your mind? The purpose of any government is to serve the people. As such, the people should have complete control over the government. Communism is impossible without complete democracy. POWER TO THE PEOPLE!

Edric, the idea is good but think that some people are not capable of making good decisions. That's why they need someone to lead them...

OOC

If you ask me, I'd say lets does who know nothing decide nothing and lets those who know something decide something, and if there are someone who konws everything, lets him decide everything.

No, they only need a better education. Democracy is infinitely better than any kind of autocracy (especially modern dictatorships).

dude edric, the idea of a government serving and being under the rule of the people is pretty new. John Locke was the first that actually wrote down the ideals of sovergnty and of contracts between governments and people to raise the commoner's status. marx was just bitter because he was raised by a very strict hebrew household. He would constantly argue with his dad on issues because he hated him. He grew up with an attitude. Lenin may have cared about the people, but that isnt what makes a good government. He was also extremely against religion. Most liberal, humanistic thinkers were as such at the time. Lookat the french revolution, they absolutely destroyed all vestages of religious faith. Lenin came up with plans to destroy a people of other political structures. He talks about religious homogenizing, sexual infedelity, moral lattitude, blind patriotism. He seeded so many evils and was so evil to religions that I cant see how you respect the guy. If you have ever noticed, revolutions never work. They start out with wonderful ideals that make so much sense, then it all falls apart because the extremism that pops up. Once Lenin died, it all went to hell. America is different. we suceeded from our government. We broke away to make our own government in a different land.

LOL, revolutions always fail? Then how do you explain the fact that your own American revolution was a resounding success?

The first French revolution failed, that's true. And that's why they had another one. And another. And yet another! The fourth revolution was finally successful, and France became a true democratic republic.

As for Marx, whether he was bitter about religion or not is irrelevant. I never supported his views on religion (and I think he was simply misguided in that regard). I support his views on POLITICS.

I just explained to you man that the american "revolution" wasent a true revolution. We did not overthrow a government and set up a new one. We simply broke off from a government to start our own seperately. a huge difference man.

The only real successful revolution that I can think of occured when Toussaint led slaves in Haiti against their masters. They even defended against the french under the emperor napoleon. They created their own constitution and it still survives to this day. All the other revolutions turn into an extremist anarchy. Look at south america, look at russia, look at france. They all failed because they could not control their own revolutionary supporters.

Religion and politics go hand in hand sadly. If a government is intolerant of religion, they are the enemy of religion. This is why the politics you believe in go along with the anti religious sentaments that people like lenin and marx held. If you dont believe me then look again at the french revolution. After the oppression the people had, they went waaay too far and destroyed all vestages of religion they could. they even nationalized the catholic church. a huge slam against it.

But we can only have an effective democracy when the ignorant are 'eliminated' by better education.
