Well I am at work right now and can't login to IRC. We do have a scheduled chat coming up on March 16 (around 11PM EST I think) where we will discuss the latest Children of Dune miniseries episode. Each night the show airs we will be chatting about it online in the #fed2k channel. Maybe we can schedule other chat events.

well it is really complicated. it's all code and whatnot. i tried to teach my bro how to use it a while ago and he was freakin clueless. eventually he just gave up on it.

I'm probably the most cmputer illiterate guy here, and I figured it out.

Where it asks you what server to join, select eastgamesnet.net

Then select connet from the file menu

then when you're connected type #fed2k

Thats all.

well i only use the code. i'm used to it all. i'm almost always in like 3 different servers and like 2 chats for each server

/server -m irc.servername.net (this joins a new irc server in a new window)

/server irc.servername.net (this joins a irc server in your present window)

/join #areaname (joins a specific area inside of a certain server)

/nick NewNick (changes your nickname)

/ me slaps <name of enemy> with a large trout (slaps someone with a large trout)

/ me shoves Timenn in a large garbage can and shoots it off to the moon in which case rogue proceeds to blow up the moon and timenn lands on the small planet of mars. (uhm...i think you get the idea)

/ me doesn't have the space tho. i had to put it in there b/c it was giving me some weird error.

Sometimes nobody is on the channel. But many times there must be at least someone. And if there is no one. Use !8ball <question> To play with ChanServ

We were there first. But the channel was removed. And now the channel is at GamesNet. That connects alot faster :)

No. It isn't so busy on the fed2k channel. So it isn't necassary

And QuakeNet connects terribly slow.

I have been trying to get a trivia bot but haven't managed to make it work yet, I've been busy as hell these last days. Hopefully I'll be able to get in contact with the owner of Lomax he may be helpfull.
