rogue1896 Posted December 6, 2002 Share Posted December 6, 2002 it's a possibilty. but if each tank targets a diferent tank they all vanish. that's why if you are sending them on suicide runs its best to go one at a time. that way you may be able to take down more than one at a time and no risk losing more than 1 at a time for yourself. If you're Ordos, and find yourself facing off versus another Ordos player, emprworm and a couple others recommend going for mass dustscouts. 4-5 camping in front of a factory will make sure most things don't live long; 1-2 staking out the barracks should be enough to put the kibosh on infantry. In the meantime, the laser tanks and AA troopers can spice camp.If you have the time and money, along with the House of Ix, go for projection tanks and clone laser tanks or 'Icemen' (ISEs, Imperial Sardaukar Elites). Unless there're scouts everywhere (Thoxen) or the enemy shielded vehicles are screened by dust scouts, etc., it should work. Note, too, that the projections make excellent fire-sponges for Deviator fun... the enemy unit(s) fire on the projections, then the Deviators come up and take their shots during their reload cycle.On the other hand, there are two cases where it's worth it to sacrifice an Iceman or laser tank: if you spot an APC (likely filled with engineers) or Deviator.
