exatreide Posted November 30, 2002 Author Posted November 30, 2002 thank you for your sympathy you incodieret ass >:(
Edric O Posted November 30, 2002 Posted November 30, 2002 Ex, I'm so sorry... I know how you feel...I don't know how close you and your grandfather were, but my own grandfather was the person I loved most in the world, and I never felt sadness and despair greater than when he died last year.May they both rest in peace.I will pray for your grandfather, Ex.
Khan Posted November 30, 2002 Posted November 30, 2002 Deepest sympathies Ex, I know how you feel I've lost all but 1 of my grandparents.People should treasure them while they have them[quote author=ExAtreides
TMA_1 Posted November 30, 2002 Posted November 30, 2002 It was kinda insensitive but that doesnt mean Ex has to be mean about it.
Inoculator9 Posted November 30, 2002 Posted November 30, 2002 I'm really sorry Ex. I haven't experienced much death in my family but many of closest family is near death. Before something like that happens you cant imagine what it would be like. I'm sorry that anyone has to know, and I hope you can be as content as possible while your gone. That was untactful and insensitive of Ix, and Ex can take some liberties under the circumstances. But Ix didn't mean any offence.
SurlyPIG Posted December 1, 2002 Posted December 1, 2002 I'm feelin empathy on that one...It always hurts when a loved one dies. Just feel fortunate for the time you had together.
Terror Posted December 1, 2002 Posted December 1, 2002 i lost 2 aunts and 1 sister. But i'm sorry for you Ex, i hope he had a good life
Ligic_Tha_Master Posted December 1, 2002 Posted December 1, 2002 I know ecxatly how you feel Ex. I have lost both of my biological grandfathers during the past 2 years.
exatreide Posted December 2, 2002 Author Posted December 2, 2002 Thank you all, we buried him yesterday. it was quite sad. The masonics had a cerimony for him. then we had the rabbi do a funeral . I was a paul bearer. He was buried in the family plot near here.on the funeral we all sort of did a egyption thing. Put something in the casket that ment something.I put in a napkin from dairy queen. Since from second to 4th grade he would take me to dairy queen every day after school. Untill he got his licene taken away.it was a very sad day. :'(
VigilVirus Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 My empathy to you, Ex. I have also lost two of my grandparents during the course of the last five years.Very touching about the Dair Queen napkin :'(
exatreide Posted December 2, 2002 Author Posted December 2, 2002 I put two in actully.one for him to keep and the other for him to pick things up with. He was alwas a perfectionist in life. Towards the end he would have to make sure there were no bits of paper left on the floor. He would alwas have a napkin to pick things up with. Even when he didnt know nearly anyone he continued to do this.So he has two napkins. :)
Inoculator9 Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 I'm really sorry Ex. That is a nice symbol, sometimes seemingly insignificant things like that can have real meaning in hind-sight. You have my sincere condolences.
exatreide Posted December 2, 2002 Author Posted December 2, 2002 Dont feel like flamming back. Still a bid depressed about it. Read the posts above.
IxianMace Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 Huh? I was trying to be nice!! What do I get for it when I try to be nice? I didn't say anything bad did I? When did I 'not try to cheer up Ex?' This disgusts me. I don't even know why I bother. >:( You've really got a nerve. ::)
Inoculator9 Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 You said you didn't have any time to read the obituary. I know you intended no offence, but it was obviously interpreted otherwise.
lowzeewee Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 He served in WW2?Cool!Does he have any WW2 souvenirs?I collect some gas left behind in the Nazi gas chamber so that I can poison myself anytime I want.Condolence to ExAtriedes[Copyright]
Inoculator9 Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 WHAT?!?!How dare you make jokes about the Nazi gas chambers. I had 13 family members killed by the god-damn Nazis. You don't joke about that, that's just disgusting.
lowzeewee Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 Majority of the soldiers from the German Nazi Party actually didn't want to fight in the war,its just that they were forced :(ordos is just like Nazi, they use gas weapons, they don't want to fight[desert the army],and have hi-tech technologies[like tanks VS horsemen of poland]
Inoculator9 Posted December 2, 2002 Posted December 2, 2002 Don't defend them! They were not forced. They could have stopped anytime they wanted to, IF THEY CARED! Nazi propagana convinced them that the Jewish people (MY PEOPLE!) were stealing everything from them. The Nazis focused around the ocult, they had an overt superiority complex,
