Fast-Food is SUCH a Rip-Off!!!

Every time I go to a fast-food style restaurant, I NEVER get filled up. I am charged between $6 - $12 Canadian (which is quite expensive, since the minimum wage here is only $6.85, (not that that's what I make, but just for a frame of reference).

I pay tons of my hard earned cash to buy a "meal", and what do I get? A few microscopic scraps on a plate. And it doesn't matter *where* in the food court I choose to buy my lunch. Almost *all* of the places give you diddly crap in terms of *mass*, even though they take a huge chunk of your money.

Even places like Subway or Mr. Sub, which charge you $9 just for one sandwich and nothing else! They hardly put *any* meat or vegetables on your sandwich! I feel like I am in Ethiopia when I see them skimping abhorrently as they are putting together my "sandwich". After eating one of those, I am *still* very hungry, and *reallly* hungry half an hour after having finished one.

This is an outrage. The fast-food buying public needs to take a stand against being starved by the companies who skimp in every way possible and give nothing more than microscopic portions that wouldn't fill up a bird.

I think fast-food should be made ILLEGAL in Canada until there are laws in place to prevent this crime against humanity - starving hungry people while also stealing their hard-earned cash.

Yeah i go to Burger King and get THE BEST burger for 3 bucks. THE BEST BURGER I SWEAR. Its a black stack BBQ griller(something like that) it has beef with bbq sauce and bacon and its big enough to where you can barely put your mouth around the buger. MMMM 3 bucks Nav damn you should try it. If thats still too much get mCchicken or something. damn i got the munchies :P

I didn't know Jack in the Box was still around. There aren't many here in teh D.C. area if at all. I thought the ecoli poison or something shut them down.

I think fast food give you a lot. It depends Nav, are you a big guy =) Around here, there is Wendy's, McD's, Burger King (damn good huh elite), Taco Bell. Maybe try some Chinese food. I used to work near a food court with a Chinese place. They always give huge portions. That's if you like Chinese food.

Course you can always "Super Size" it =)

Anything from TriCon Inc. (or whatever the name of the company that owns Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut is) gives me diaharhea. Unfortunately, here in Canada there is *no* major franchise to buy chicken or tacos at other than Taco Bell or KFC. I'd rather go hungry than have diaharhea. That stuff is poison.

By the way, and this is a true story: my brother and his wife got worms from eating KFC. They had to go to the hospital and have their stomachs pumped. I'm not making that up!

McDonalds hardly gives you any food. All of their sandwiches are very small. It takes about 5 McChickens to fill me up, how the heck could anyone possibly get filled up with just 1, and a few fries and a very watered-down cup of pop thrown in?

There is no good place to buy fast-food with a good mass-per-dollar ratio where I live, other than when McDonalds has special deals, which isn't all that often.

We have a few Popeye's but not many. They are not readily-available in most areas. No chicken or taco franchise is other than those that cause worms and diarharhea.
