A Sniper is Terrorizing the US

How many believes the sniper is a terrorist, or has connection with the anti-U.S. extremists? I think CNN mentioned that they would "ask" a former al-Quaeda member about this. Remember, the terrorists are very religous, so "Dear policemen: I am God"-thing maybe means: "Dear policemen: I am the will of God". You get the point.

If he was anti-US why would he only shoot civilians who have no bearing on the government or military? An ex-FBI agent was shot, but the agent has nothing to do with the FBI anymore. Shooting politically and militarily important people would be more efficient right?

How could you guys be forgetting? America right now is still killing hundreds of vietnamese(i am vietnamese) even today. Hundreds of American land mines are still active and in place. And have you ever heard of "Agent Orange" ?? It's an orange biological weapon that still effects people even today. I mean, America even sprayed that crap over the Americans.

Well do you want the US troops dying to pick them up? It's sad that people are still dying from them, but not all of them are American. We should have made an effort to remove them after the war but it was too risky. They should probably evacuate an infested area and detonate them all from bouncy weights hanging over them (stupid but hey an idea lol).

Agent oarnge was nasty stuff. My father was one of the men who was sprayed with the stuff by his own government. It completely ruined his life. He had to have 4 cardiac bipass's at the age of 42 and it gave him early onset of diabetes. The worst part is the government doesn't seem to care that much. He has tried repeatedly to get some form of disability pay from them but they just keep putting it off. The stuff was designed to kill the dense forests of vietnam so you could see what was what from in the air and on the ground.

Most countries don't do such things anymore because of international law. China still has human rights violations. I just mean that these violations aren't as common anymore.

I think personally that human beings really have a lot to think about and improve, we are the worst animal of all...unecessarily cruel, greedy, violent, I really think most of our governments are pathetic and have one thought in mind 'money and power.' Most people irritate me anyway, how is going around killing innocent children and adults going to solve anything? I don't even know how war is supposed to solve anything. Just my opinion, that's all.

War can solve problems but it isn't an appropriate way to solve them. And I think that humans aren't the worst species, we have made quite a few achievements, and you shouldn't condemn the whole species.

I am only saying that I think as a whole that this world is mostly full of people who are too greedy and want power. Most people don't bother helping others anymore, seriously, I am just saying what is the point of losing all those innocent lives (ie WTC etc) just to prove a point? I believe that is immature, and I am trying right now to think of another animal that kills 3000 of it's OWN species in one go, just to prove itself right.

Killers are kind of like vengeful children. They think that justice can only be served by killing someone who wronged them. The sniper doesn't even have the revenge excuse. It appears to me that he is doing his shootings totally at random, and ocassionally taken the police's "challenges".

Sick as it sounds, he is enjoying every bit of media and police attention, and it is giving him an adrenaline rush just to kill a random stranger.

animals only kill to feed themselves. the point is, they DON'T have the resources. I don't believe humans should have the resources either, since we are so irresponsible with what we do have. animals just do what they need to do to survive. How would you know that they would kill 3000 of their own?

They would kill their enemies. Like an antelope would kill lions if they had the resources or the understanding.
