Inoculator9
Followers of the Jihad are never that subtle. If that were the case then Muslims would be going more for infiltration. They go straight for what they want, with no subtlties.
Acriku
Doesn't have to be a muslim, but only an American who agrees with Osama or Saddam or whomever.
Inoculator9
I don't think that you can really take a middle ground here. You might be neutral, but if you agree with Osama then your likely to be, or become Muslim.
Acriku
A kid who agreed with Osama never was muslim, and he flew a small duster plane into the federal bank in florida. No one was hurt except for him, who killed himself.
Ghosty_Square
You don't knowhis true intentions and beliefs cos you weren't in his mind. And you can'r believe everything the media says.
Acriku
Actually, he had a journal :P
Inoculator9
He obviously agreed with Osama, and didn't see it as necessary to go to a mosque and convert, and you can't believe everything the media says.
Acriku
Who said I believed every word? You think the local news would make up stories such as "he had a journal"? It was police evidence! For crying out loud, not all media are money-grubbing succubi.
Ghosty_Square
It isn't necessary that the media lies. The police can lie too, you know.
Acriku
Ok, you have very pessimistic and paranoid views. A local (local! not global!) police force will not lie about a kid believing in Osama and say there was a journal and that is proves that. There is no reason, as well as a lot of people have access to the evidence locker (where the journal would be) and would know if the police lied or not. Inoculator9
Local police can be obstructed, news is altered and things are suppresed to throw a better light on the country in question.
Acriku
Sure there is a chance of that, but that intentionally happening is very hard to do, and with what reason?
Inoculator9
To make things look better for the country, to prevent people from seeing the possibility of neglegence on the part of the educational system and the family.
Acriku
How does the educational system connect with a kid dying by flying into a bank? His devotion to Osama was the culprit.
Inoculator9
The two possibilities for picking up on a problem like that would be at school and home. But of course his support of Osama is the reason, but it could have been helped.
pointybum
I think it is two close friends or brothers on a personal 'king of the castle campaign', egging each other on for that perfect kill, perhaps taking it in turns. This tragic happening has deep overtones from the movie Fight Club. I hope their arrest is sooner without further loss of life, whoever they are or want to be. Inoculator9
I'm sure he'll be caught soon. He is going to need more bullets soon, so he'll either try to buy them or steal them. That is when the mistake will be made.
Acriku
What if he has been stocking up for this?
Inoculator9
He'll run out of ammo eventually.
Acriku
Then he might stop, but speculating on how much ammo he has left is dumb.
Inoculator9
I never said how much I thought he had.
Anathema
Don't assume he can't get ammo illegally.
Acriku
Debating on whether or not he will run out is definitely speculating on how much he has left.
pointybum
and goin off the respectfull again.
Inoculator9
I meant that if he goes through normal channels he would likely run out. And I think there are limitations on how much you can buy. Unless he bought in instalments.
