Dude_Doc
Actually, I want to go to the United States, Washington DC and New York. I've never been there. I have been in the U.S., but in Miami, DisneyLand :), and the Bahamas, but that's "another country". I've been, and will still go, to Thailand. Hmm... maybe China, Hong Kong, but I heard that China is somewhat dangerous, the "law" there can break into your room and accuse you for being a spy or something... Japan, Tokyo also, I'm somewhat of a city dude. Then Mongolia, Germany and Australia, some place there. But the best of all:"The Outer Rings"! -Starship Troopers...Maybe the Eastern Island for a day or two...

I've been on Washington DC (before 11/9) and I like it very much, cool museums to visit (2 of the smithsonians, air and space and natural science). I've never been on the west coast of USA, but I have a friend who lives in Spokane which is in Washington State if i am not mistaken, as he told me it seems such a great pleace......... because I like the rain !!! (the more the better for me).

Inoculator9
Pretty cold, but I think seeing the monastaries would be worth it. It's terrible what the Tibetans have had to endure though. Chinese in Tibet now outnumber Tibetans by 25%. 7.5 million to 6 million.
zamboe
There is only one place in earth like Tibet.I mean the Tibet is a great plain at a very high altitude (from 3000 to 4500 meters over sea level) surrounded by big mountains. The other one is in South America there is great plain (Altiplano andino) close to Titikaka lake with an average altitude of 4000 m.o.s.l. Which is very particular is a documental that the BBC showed a few months ago, and they showed the ppl, originals from each place, and the ONLY difference between them was the form of the eyes, but besides that completly similar in their looks. Inoculator9
This kind of sounds corny but I've noticed how damn clear the water is in Australia. It's nuts if you compare it to other places. If it was a little cooler i'd want to live there.
katnip03
Where I lived it was never too hot at all. But then I moved to Wisconsin. Hmmm, a slight difference. Lake Michigan has nothing on the ocean I used to live by.
Inoculator9
It isn't hot? That sounds really nice, the heat would be the only problem I'd have.
katnip03
It depends where you are. I lived just north of sydney on the east coast, and in summer yes it probably was around 90 degrees but not humid. But I do agree with you on the water, it is like you can see to the bottom of the ocean.
Inoculator9
If it isn't humid then it's great. This sounds stupid but West Virginia gets to like 100 degrees and 60% humidity.
ordos45
Only 60% humidity? Are you kidding me? Try closer to 80% a lot of the time. Now the Fall cold is setting in faster than I appreciate, so it seems its going to be another Halloween of handing out candy to freezing little kids.Where I would like to go would be Stonehenge, and (yes I know this sounds stupid) the Inca Ruins of Machu Pichu in Peru. However, that area of Peru is often plagued by terrorists, guerillas, etc. Due to "The Shining Path" (i believe that is the translation anyhow), the area can be very unsafe for Americans. At least you don't have to shovel the heat, and at least the heat doesn't add an hour to your commute.

If you don't believe me, just contact the US embassy in Peru, they will tell you the same.
