Deployed Mortar Infantry, Fremen Warriors, and Kobras can work wonders against swarms of Sarduakar Elite or Sarduakar Regulars. Flame Tanks will likely be shot to pieces before they get close enough to be useful, and Buzzsaws will take damage and eventually explode if they run over too many Sarduakar (which explode when run over, damaging whatever ran over it).

Even one Sardaukars could easily handle a Mortar in any conditons, the both sardaukars will easily handle the fremens, spread out your sard group and the kobra will probably only kill a few sard before its death, and the buzzsaw will easily be destroyed by the sards when in groups.

The Sarduakar Elite AND regulars stand still for awhile after they shoot, meaning they WON'T get away from the mortars raining down on them. There we go, Sard flips over and dies. Fremen Warriors OWN the hell out of Sarduakar Elite, and only need 2 shots to kill 1 Sarduakar regular. The Sarduakar might kill some Fremen, but overall Fremen own Sarduakar. It won't be very easily to spread out your Sarduakar when you're massing an attack on a Kobra, and who says that there's just going to be one Kobra? Also, the other player will more than likely rush with more Buzzsaws, meaning that the Sarduakar will kill the first one, but then pause to reload, and the second or third Buzzsaw will make it to the Sarduakar, and then squish... ::)

Such as what unit, most long ranged units are anti-tank unit and'll provide not much cover. Also, as i said in other subjects, hit & run tactics isn't sophisticated at all and could be countered easily, also even its successful, your opponent could just shoot it off.

And you say 'I just shoot it of'

Release the 'just' because it isn't so quickly and easy done. You have to do it for each infected unit. On time. And it is damaged. What is very annoying if you play Atreides and Harkonnen. But it may have some effect with Ordos too. And you don't have Repair vehicles everywhere with Atreides

But virtually all the long range anti-ifantry unit does splash damage and would do possible friendly fire.

And that means that they will get shot by splash damage while they have already there larves shot off. And don't say you will get all uninfected ones out of the group, you can ask a shepherd.
