what still suits do u think look better. the dune movie still suits. or the mini-series still suits.

As weird as it may be the Dune movie was more realistic than the mini series. The problem was in the movie they didnt wear juba cloaks and there was a mask that protected the face and helped in keeping moisture from going out of hte body. but the suit itself was more realistic than the mini in my opinion.

I agree, the stillsuits from the movie are better. Only they lacked the clothing.

Yes, movie`s suits were better. When I was reading book, it was more that I imagine than in series.

I agree.  The movie ones were much better.  Lynch deliberately left out the masks and cloaks because he wanted the viewer to see the actor.  I think it was a worthwhile sacrifice.

Lynch's suits are better, in fact, can you imagine how hot it is inside a black suit under direct sunlight in the desert  :-/ ?

i like the movie ones, but i think the series ones make more sence"confort wise". like really who wants to walk aroud with a beast of a suit which dark and bulky.

The Lynch stillsuits are the best IMO, the design from the series did not look like they were desert compatiable. Although the Lynch stillsuits did not have the faceflap a small detail overlooked I think the design was better than the ones for the mini-series.

Sorry bout the post up there... dont know what happened... lol, well anyway the old stillsuits look more real-2 life. looks liek they actually hold water. they do lack teh cape and mask tho. the miniseries look like leather and .. hrm. i dotn think that would make a good stillsuit

I like the movie stillsuits, but the miniseries ones are more faithful to the novels.

I like everything with the old movie better exept from the effects and lightning...

The first is quite dark to hide cheap effects (and its VERY old)

All the fremen had stillsuits, as well as the higher people and the servants so they can function in the desert.. i think anyway

i saw the costume disugises for the still suits in the cod mini series. they look much better than the old ones

I seen on one website where you can buy stillsuits.. wuite a hefty cost though...
