to win the mission build some laser tanks and 3 kobras, constantly build CHEMICAL TROOPERS!!!

head out for the Ordos base and kill of the Tleilaxu base (even the windtraps).

i trained some Sardaukar (10) and lots of dust-scouts and a place where the eng's could be safe so that the dust-scouts could return for repairs.

Secondly, you do not have to capture the outposts, but it helps greatly.

Saboteurs are extremely cost effective in this level as they don't die quickly (before they get in range) and can take out many contaminators and leeches with them. Infiltrators are brilliant too for taking out that Tleilaxu base but may be a bit too expensive for destroying Tleilaxu hordes. EITS are out of the question due to exorbitant costs but they would be great otherwise.

Mortar and Kobras will massacre the slow Contaminator hordes and leeches can be taken care of by Chem troopers with AA trooper (and mortar if you are confident you won't hit yourself) support. Else use Dust Scouts to quickly cut down everything and tell them to shoot each other to disinfect Leech Larvae.

Tlielaxu can't win an entire battle.  They can kill all your units, but can't do crap against buildings.

I suppose the best contaminaters could do is contaminate the infantry that come out of buildings when they die; that is if the stupid zombies (Al Gores?) survive that long.

Projectors can't destroy buildings even (ok mr. exactly, they can) but the results (projections) can. That's the way you have to look at it...
