I know, it's hard to pick just one but for me I have to say Eddie Murphy in Trading Places.

What a classic.  :)

"Randolph Duke: Exactly why do you think the price of pork bellies is going to keep going down, William?

Billy Ray Valentine: Okay, pork belly prices have been dropping all morning, which means that everybody is waiting for it to hit rock bottom, so they can buy low. Which means that the people who own the pork belly contracts are saying, "Hey, we're losing all our damn money, and Christmas is around the corner, and I ain't gonna have no money to buy my son the G.I. Joe with the kung-fu grip! And my wife ain't gonna f... my wife ain't gonna make love to me if I got no money!" So they're panicking right now, they're screaming "SELL! SELL!" to get out before the price keeps dropping. They're panicking out there right now, I can feel it.

[on the ticker machine, the price keeps dropping]

Randolph Duke: He's right, Mortimer! My God, look at it!"

Wow.. all time eh? Trading Places has a place in my heart, but I'd have to say my all-time favorite is either is Stripes with Bill Murray, or Zoolander. It's a toss up.

Agreed, that or meaning of life, makes me laugh just thinking about it.

I wonder where that fish has gone? You did love it so. :P

It would have to be 'The Blues Brothers' for me. Warm humour and great music. Nuff said. 'Dr. Strangelove, or How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb' is also a great favourite of mine.

in my opinion there aren't really that much good comedy movies. at least none which you can watch a few times and still keep laughing. but there are a lot of very awesome comedy series though.

Red Dwarf and Coupling got both on DVD, Can watch em over and over still laughing my socks off.

The Simpson's also you can watch multiple times and my youngest favorite series Spongbob Squarepants not hysterical but funny. ;D ::)

Another one that came to mind, although it was suppose to be a horror flick but I swear Evil Dead-2 was one of the funniest movies I've seen. That one should really be labeled as a comedy.

Ash: Bruce Cambell [having just gotten hit in the face with a gusher of blood that turns to black goo] Old double-barrel here, blow your guts to Kingdom Come!

[staggers backward, voice drops]

Ash: See if we don't!

I noticed that before Christmas (forget from where), almost downloaded it but didn't.

Dunno if it would have the same effect with English subtitles.

Well, the official subtitles could be better, but unfortunately their translator seems to have quite big ego. I, however, have heard foreign people praising the movie as well. Actually, in a sense it's even better if you don't really understand Finnish since then you won't notice the straggering acting at some points.

... And at least the computer-generated effects are worth the free download.

I have to say, that has got to be one of the best low-budget B rated movies ever made. part 1 I didn't like part 3 was OK, but Evil Dead 2 was the absolute best. I still pop that in the VCR from time to time.

For me Dodgeball was one of the funniest movies i had ever seen. Monty Python is pretty neat as well though. Also Hot Shots is great.
