EWS is kicked out after attaining 1 draw and 2 losses in his 3 games while Spectral Paladin eases through with 3 straight wins. Lowzeewee must now beat Caid Ivik to get the 2nd spot! :O

Kicked out?  Thats a bit harsh!!  I wud prefer, EWS did not qualify.  And I wud have won if it were not for some stupid errors (in all 3 games I lost my queen whilst moving in for the kill)

BTW, no matter the outcome of this tourney, could we have chess tournaments on a monthly basis?

Depends mostly on how fast the participants finish their games lol, so far its the third day and only 6 games are done...but should be able to finish within a month...hopefully ^^

OK EWS got "narrowly edged out" :D

OK the quarter-finals would work like this:

Winner of Gp 1 vs Runner-up of Gp 2

Winner of Gp 2 vs Runner-up of Gp 1

Winner of Gp 3 vs Runner-up of Gp 4

Winner of Gp 4 vs Runner-up of Gp 3

So for the runner-up of Group 4, await a Greek death.

Cyborg P1 W1 D0 L0 3pts

Gunwounds

Khan P1 W0 D0 L1 0pts

Admirable effort but guys....please play your games...I notice you guys are usually online at around the same time as your fellow groupmates, so come on!

Grp 3:

Lowzeewee P2 W0 D1 L1 1pt

Spectral Paladin P3 W3 D0 L0 9pts

EWS P3 W0 D1 L2 1pt

Caid Ivik P2 W1 D0 L1 3pts

Caid, we just need to finish that last game of ours and we have completed all the group matches!

Grp 4:

Dust Scout P1 W0 D0 L1 0pts

Acriku

DukeLeto

Apollyon P1 W1 D0 L0 3pts

Seems difficult for the 2 british guys, Dust Scout and Apollyon, to organize and play their games with the 2 americans, Acriku and DukeLeto, but I guess you can try...

49 moves for both of us... That's 98 moves, actually  :D

Long game *phew*

Alas, the game window got closed when DuNeNeWt left, so I couldn't get the moves recorded :'(

Since you two both live in England, it would be easier for both of you to play your games, so it won't be difficult so I won't worry. Also, Cyborg seems to be online everyday too. :) Gunwounds lives in the USA so its rather difficult. :(

I guess I'll have a Challenge Cup for the 8 people who get knocked out. :D So far EWS and Caid Ivik are in. :D And you must not meet a person who was in the same group as you. :O

OK people of Group 1 and 2, Gunwounds from Group 1 and Super from Group 2 have switched places to enable easier playing. :)

@Khan and Super: Though you 2 played before, you have to replay again. ;D

@Gunwounds: Sorry but I had to change the grouping to help the people in the 2 groups, sorry that you had already arranged with Khan, but this time you have 2 fellow americans in your group so it should be better for you. Sorry for inconvenience. :(
