I guess Tampa Bay for me...

EDIT: And if you complain about it, lookit the flag. Besides, if a team from the south beats the Flames... I'll laugh myself silly.

That is the funny thing man, they are trained in north but bought by south where no one even seen how does it fell snowing ( Florida ) and that is the irony of the game, outsiders wonder how could a iceless team ( Like Tampa or Dallas ) even play Hockey ( and they know it as Ice Hockey since there is a game called hockey in the summer Olympic games ).

I heard on the radio today that the first game of the series had 3million+ watching in canada but just over 1million in the US. So much for increasing the fan base down south.

I heard that when the Colmbus Blue Jackets started up Doug MacLean (an Islander :)) had to teach the fans how hockey was played, and what icings and offsides were. And even sent out brochures of how it was played and what to cheer for.

It is a pity.

Atlantic Canada needs a team!!! Since we know how to play hockey.

And definitely Winnipeg and Quebec should be back, we have a lot less team than the country south of us.

Definately WInnepeg and Quebec.Ā  Man, that would be great.Ā  I'd also like to see Minnesota become the North Stars again, but I don't think that's going to happen, what with the Wild, and Dallas, and all.

Nice picture, Ace.Ā  That's awesome.

Flames take a 3-2 lead thanks to Oleg Saprikyn's OT winner!Ā  One game from the cup returning to Canada! :OĀ  If we win game six, I'm SO going down to the red mile...

The picture, BTW, was taken looking onto the old City Hall in Calgary and features the mayor, city staff and some random people that had flames jerseys on.Ā  Also if you look in the middle of the C you can see Harvey the Hound, the Flames' mascot most famous for straddling the sideboards to rile up the crowd and lasooing zamboni drivers during intermissions.

Woo!Ā  I was keeping track of the game during my shift (one of the other guards had a cellphone, and called his friends.Ā  For some stupid reason, they played football on the radio.

It's okay, they weren't going to win in six anyway.Ā  If they did that, they couldn't have broken the playoff road win record.Ā  Me and some buddies are going to watch them win game seven at the 'dome.

Yep.

Although I heard that Tampa Bay has more canadian players than Calgary. :O

I just want to see the parties in Calgary if they win. Tampa doesn't know how to party or what hockey is, like most american cities in the south. :P

EDIT - OMG the national anthem singer was not good. and what was she sniffing!??! in her hand she was holding something.

Tampa Bay has 19 Canadians, Calgary 15.

Game 7 begins now!

Well actually Calgary would have won in game 6, if their goal would have been given ( it was clear that puck crossed the goal-line before bouncing back from khabi's leg ), anyway things like that happen and I guess we have to wait another 7 years for another Canadian team to reach final.

Goodbye Stanley, guess we have to be apart a lot longerĀ  :'(.
