My gut says that its gonna be Bush. Alot of people like him still and he is still quite popular despite all the current problems....

I dont know I just have a feelings that thats the way its gonna turn out....

If I'm right, this poll is about who you think is going to be the next president, not about who you think who should be the next president.

Am I right?

Who will?: I'm not sure, it seems like a tie between Kerry and Bush, although Bush has the advantage of party solidarity as well as incumbency.

Who should?: Ralph Nader. Its obvious. The man is America's last true civil servant.

I picked unsure, because I dont like any of them and I vote by who I think is best, not by party lines, I am able to vote this year too so it is sad. The person I was cheering for was joseph lieberman, and would have definitely voted for him, love the guy. Obviously he didnt have much of a chance, damn it.

but who I think is going to be next president? not sure.

Altough I want kerry to be president I do disagree with one of his views; immigrations.

He wants a policy that allows illegal immigrants citizenship if they've been here a few years and can get a job etc.

the reason I don't like this is that california right now is being invaded by illegal immigrants, these illegal aliens end up selling oranges on freeway off ramps and if they have kids send their kids to the already horrendously crowded LA school district.

with kerry's policy it'll get even worse.

BTW I live in Southern California so I have seen this first hand (even the orange vendor example [many times]) and the effects on the CA's schools by this is aweful.

Don't get me wrong I do support immigration to the US but that is regulated so it prevents problems with too many people coming here.

Bush, obviously.  He certainly doesn't deserve to, but he will.  He'll pull some stunt like having captured Osama right before the election.  And if it still looks like he might lose, I wouldn't put it past them to put a stay on the election.  It certainly wouldn't be out of character for this administration.

Does this scenario sound plausible?

"Our intelligence services have confirmed that a terrorist attack on US soil is imminent. Al Qaeda is most likely to attempt to strike at large crowds of people or at locations where they are certain to find many civilians, such as polling stations. Therefore, in the interest of national security, we have decided to postpone election day for a limited amount of time..."

Of course, it probably won't come to that. I'd say Kerry and Bush have pretty much equal chances to be elected.

But I supported Dean... :'(

To foresee the future with my paranoid mind, I'd say Kerry would be the winner. Why? Because he will hand over some power to the United Nations ;) ...

However, I think I would vote for Kerry. It seems he knows what he is doing...

it's either Bush or Kerry - for sure.  the other Poll options are not even necessary

probably Bush will win. he hasn't even spent any money to promote himself yet.  that's the only reason why Kerry is so close to him at the moment.  once Bush's propaganda machine gets rolling, then Bush will take the lead and win the election easily, probably

Scytale, I don't think an orange vendor wouldn't be recognized as having a job unless he registered his stand as a business.

But I like Kerry based on what he's said about his foreign policy, not domestic matters.

I do want kerry to win though, Bush is a [hide children] cocksucking dog rapist cockbite fucktard. [/hide children]

social security is required by americans to pay, they govt says that "well we'll need to cut benefits due to debt"  >:(

you know jobs like a computer technician are moving to China and India? hell telemarketers are now in india (true statement I've recieved calls to do a morgage on my home from people in Calcutta)

Yeah Scytale, I've gotten Indian telemarketers too...despite being on the Federal No Call List.  I don't want Bush to win, because I dislike foreign policies that include:

Step 1-Threaten

Step 2-Drop bombs

Sure you had those the right way round?

I think Kerry and Bush currently have equal chances of winning, but that Kerry will come out on the head. I have to support him, especially in light of the fact that he wants to do away with the death penalty. In a perfect world though, we could do much better. I'm just hoping Kerry wins, and maybe if I'm lucky, Edwards will end up VP.

Dean should have won the nomination. He was the only one whose mind was set on really changing things and challenging the status quo. With Dean as President, you would have seen a whole new America.

Kerry, on the other hand, is nothing but a slightly more sane version of Bush. The differences between the two of them are minimal. But nevertheless, I have to support the lesser evil: Kerry. You should kick Bush out of the White House while you still can...
