just wanted to chime in with my support of GEORGE W. BUSH!!!

he will get my next vote!

also, I'm moving to Canada next month...Langley to be precise. WIll become a dual Canadian-USA citizen.

This means I get to vote in Canada.

You can better believe I will be voting for CONSERVATIVES.

I despise the liberal blood sucking commies that plague the canadian government from the top down. I wish conservatives there would band together and oust the lazy liberal commies.

I also like Bush. What a country need is a conservative government. :)

In school we could vote for the party we liked the most, I voted, of course, on of the conservative parties. and it won the election in the whole country. (though it was not a real election)

Just name the time and place, conservative scum! 8)

What a country needs is Liberty and Equality. One cannot exist without the other. And the only government which can provide them both is a socialist government.

Workers of the world, unite!

I am all for a conservative governemnt, but personally,I think that George W. is being a dumbass.

I liked his dad a lot, but Bush Jr. is just an idiot.

But he is still better than any damn liberal government that we could put in place.

BTW, Edric, what kind of socialist government do you want? Do you have a model for your ideal gov. or is it just the general concept?

Wondered where Emprworm had gone...you're a Rush Limbaugh fan aren't you? (Before anyone makes any remarks...I do listen to him, he's on my talk radio while I drive)

Nice so see you drop in again man. :) I take it from your future change of location that things are going well with the woman you met on the net several months ago. She must be really something if she could draw you away from this site and from your home so easily.

Im guessing you've already been several times, but I think you'll like living in Vancouver. But it's a good thing you're moving now, as opposed to a year ago. You've probably seen firsthand the damage caused by the NDPs (furthest left of major parties) before they were voted out. You would not have liked them at all, to put it very lightly!

As for alternatives, might I reccomend the PCs? They're the more down-to-Earth of Canada's conservatives, and I think you'd like them on a provincial level, but something tells me you'd be nothing left of the CA in the fed elections.

anyone in power with an evil agenda can go to hell! there, that is fair enough. Any politician that wishes to do good is awesome, about 3 % of them.lol

what good is liberty when it is twisted? what good is false freedom? sure, many democracies speak of equality, but very few give it. Aristotle brought up a good remark. What is the mindset of a democratic government? Does it wish to peserve a democracy any way it can, or does it wish to preserve the ideals of a democracy? It seems that many countries take on the name, but rarely do they follow the ideals, they just treat it like any other totalitarian government, trying to "keep democracy alive". all hypocritical.

I always have been supportive of Bush's government, however, I'm a big fan of the United Nations, and I did not like his disregard for them. Other than that though, I think he has done a fairly good job of being President. I consider myself a moderate, but I often lead towards the conservative side.

It's nice to see that some people are not afraid to talk about what they believe in. Often, to cheer Bush on is to earn yourself a beating and a tongue-lashing from the anti-Bush side of the spectrum. Thanks for speaking up, Emprworm, and more power to you.

(Head to albinoblacksheep.com and download the two protesting the protestors videos to see how people on BOTH sides can be equally stupid. I think it's funny how the liberals always claim to be enlightened, informed, and intellectual. Calling the conservatives fools and sheep. Well, who are the real sheep?)

The political opposite of social is conservative

I think it's egoist.

Conservatives (at least, the ones I know) think of them self in the first place. "As long as I can have a nice home, a nice car and enough expensive food in the fridge, everything is allright."

'We' socialist think of other people too. Hmm, I wonder which one makes the person the 'better' one :)

There is nothing wrong with thinking of other people. Not at all. The problem with most forms of communism come from the fact that the government takes everyones money, and distributes it to the people "fairly." Now it does not seem fair to me that some guy can go out and work his ass off to try to earn money, but he earns no more than his next door neighbor who does absolutly nothing productive.

That is the problem with socialism/communism.

The main problem with communism was not that the Central Committe lied and cheated (even though many of them did). The problem came from the workers themselves.

If you compared a worker in the USSR to a worker in the USA from anywhere between 1970 and 1985, you would see two things. One, the American worker would be far more productive than the Russian worker, and Two, the American workers on average had a better standard of living than the majority of Russians.

Why? Even if the Central Committee took wealth from the people, it could do it on a scale enough to lower the standard of living AND the productivity rate at the same time at that level. The reason Russian workers were unproductive is that there was NO motivation to better themselves. They knew that they would receive their pay, no matter what they did. So, the Russian workplace became the place to master the art of doing the bare minimum to get by. Pretty soon, almost ALL workers did this. The end effect of this is that not much gets done, not much net national worth is produced, and the quality of life suffers. The Russian people wanted nice cars, TV sets, and all sorts of consumer goods. The Americans wanted the same things, and the conservative American capitalist system was the best at achieving it because it puts the individual on his or her own. You want it? Fine. Go get it yourself. In the US, or the UK, or any other Democratic/Capitalist country, you'll see that if you work harder, you will get more, and you will get further. The fatal difference in communism from capitalism is that in communism you are not rewarded materially for working harder. Since the goal of working harder would be to make more material wealth, there is no motivation to work harder. The nation suffers. There is no growth, and the whole is harmed. It will end up doing harm to the people rather than good.

Bush is not a Conservative at all. Bush is a hypocrite. he calls himself a Christian, yet he has done very many reprehensible, anti-Christian acts since coming to power, and very little good acts that as Christian, he is commanded to perform by God (if he was a real Christian, which he is not).

Pat Buchanan is a real Christian, and Conservative. Ross Perot is a real Christian, and Conservative. Bush, like Gore - is not Christian or Conservative at all. he just assigns himself the labels like many people here on this site even though he does not meet the definition of the words ::)

WOW! Look at all the conservatives in this thread!

YEA BABY!

I LOVE MY FELLOW CONSERVATIVE BRETHEREN!

COMMUNSISTS SUCK. They draw your blood, and drink it down. Those lazy despicable dehumanizing amoral commies are the bane of the earth. They think they have a right to your freedom, your property, your dreams, your place in society, and to your religion. They are SCUM.

So nice to see so many conservatives around these boards.

PEACE!!
