  1. Iron Fire - Legend of the Magic Sword
  2. I am actually rather sure that Edric has not been joining this thread yet
  3. Ensiferum - Eternal Wait
  4. Hearts on Fire - Hammerfall
  5. How did you arrive at that conclusion? Various pack animals have territories. So have packs of humans. The only difference is that we call our territories "states".
  6. Unless the good Caid Ivik has changed since my heyday here, I would say perhaps, perhaps not
  7. But as you yourself said, then Self-powered flight and thrown stones are two different things entirely- You could, perhaps, devise the rocket based on experiences with bows and arrows.... and then devise true aircraft based on the rocket... I have managed to defeat my own argument :P
  8. Hehe. Well, according to The Common Nordic Council for the Prevention of Unmanliness a true man can neither fear death nor three days of hangover ;)
  9. And then I turned 21. Which, according to the strange rules of The Common Nordic Council for the Prevention of Unmanliness, means being bearded is now mandatory (Not that it makes any difference to me ;) ) Now for yet another year of reckless drinking and pretending to be studying :D

    Exams

Technically I am writing my last exam this term even now
  11. From the moment I saw the thread, I wondered when he would show up :D
  12. Why thank you. I thought you had trouble enough with bothersome newcomers (I do indeed lurk here quite often), and no need for the fury of the resident Northman
  13. My main thing this summer will undoubtably be Roskilde (Going to the festival that is), not that the bands will be that good, but a week of unceasing drinking sounds appealing to me. A close contender for the my most important thing this summer, though, will be the Iron Maiden concert in Horsens (27th of July :D) Apart from that there is only really one of two "drinking holidays" with various comrades of mine. ALSO, I might also try to make a comeback here ;D
  14. Or because we all became lurkers and grew beards
  15. Yes, insofar as it is the opposite of both ;)
  16. Indeed, happy new year (Though I seem a bit late)
  17. Sleipnir - Manowar
  18. This juicy piece and a chance to topple our goverment, and both in one day. 'tis a good day methinks ;D
  19. Well, that is pretty standard Christianity
  20. Or more likely unwilling. People tend to unwilling to be consistent with eternal damnation when it comes to genocides or close relatives. That sounds just like regular monotheism
  21. Normally I do not post in the PRP (Normally, infact, I do not post at all. I am retired to lurking), but this here qouted post has promted to do so. In particular the "If you allow unpredictable dicatators to grow" part. In regards to the late Saddam Hussein, he was infact allowed to "grow". He took power in 1979, and ruled until 2003. Now, if the core of the problem was that one should not allow unpredictable dictators to be in power, why was he then, not removed before?
  22. Well like Cyborg I too can understand Danish, Swedish and Norwegian. The latter two takes a bit of getting used to though, and a bit of help from Cyborg if it's Nynorsk. That aside I speak English, this should be obvious by now ;) I understand a bit of German and I technically understand Italian (Though I often claim I do not)
  23. Korpiklaani - Cottages and saunas
  24. I am, as most of you old timers know, not known for my visits to this charred place known as the PRP board, but Edric's thread drew me in, and thus I make this post. Going back to Edrics original post, I wonder, is it not possible that morality might have formed before religion, and then later, as the major religions of today came along, the excisting morality were later incorporated into religion, and thus reinforced by being made devine commandments. This I base mostly on my knowlegede of Norse society which had it's own, to the Norse anyway, objective morals, and a system of laws based on those, yet to my (quite extensive knowlegde), there are no textual evidence of the Norse morality being based on devine commandtments. The closest we can come to such are H
