Suddenly the earth begins to shake beneath Dust Scout. He thinks: 'What the ****'. He begins to slide away to the left. Then only a few meters to his left the immense Sand Worm he summoned in an earlier battle rises again, drawn by Dust Scout shield. Totally crazy the worm lands his massive body on top of Dust Scout. babylon smiles. 'My ATTACK couldn't be easier.'

Enraged by Exatredies's cowardly attack, Sir Sard aims his bolt pistol at the spear and then he pulls the trigger, although Sir Sard dosn't like to be on the defence he can't help being pleased with himself seeing Ex's supprised expression.

'Idiot.' Dust Scout think to himself underneath the worm. 'The shields protect from sudden damage, so a worm landing on top of me won't do anything at all! Good thing it didn't try to eat me though... A decent defence if I do say so myself... and now this worm is lying on top, it's even better than before.'

Exatreides pulls a long knife from his leg pouch and races towards him a OVERWELMING ATACK, swingly madly and cursing the warrioer in the holy words of Youuzon vong.

Sir Sard thinks for a moment aobut using his bolt pistol to blast the crazed attacker into a thousand pieces, but no that wouldn't worthy death for such a fanatical fighter, instead Sard turns on his chainsword and engages his enemy in a brutal hand-to-hand counter attack

Wow, lots to cover :)

Attacking party: D'newt: 4

Defending party: ExSPlug: 4

Attacking party: Babylon: 20

Defending party: Dust Scout: 6

Attacking party: Exatreides: 4 +10 (Overwhelming Attack), 14 points

Defending party: Sir Sard: 3 +3 (Counter Attack), 6 points

Hrmm...I notice Ex and Sard got in an extra round of battle between scorings.

Ok, new rule: players may post multiple rounds between scorings, provided they allow twelve hours between posts (This is to keep players from posting "defense" posts, and "attack" posts directly beneath, thereby gaining a possibly unfair advantage).

The effect of the lockdown canister is greater then ExSPlug had expected. It had caused the rockets to explode in mid-air. Flames and smoke erupted, and cut off the visual contact between D'newt and him.

As the smoke clear off, ExSPlug had already activated his stealth field and is behind D'newt. He draws his sword(from Sir Sard in the last fight), and attack D'newt...

D'Newt is unaware of the whereabouts of ExSPlug until he feels the cold steel of ExSPlug's sword. At that very moment, D'Newt turns on his Suspensor belt knocking ExSPLUB back with a blast of energy in a fierce Counter

haveing fended off the overwhelmming attack, Sir Sard throws himself at the enemy warrior, emptying a bolt pistol clip at him while chopping wildly with his chainsword, hopefully Ex will be brought to his knees by this overwhelming attack

What is it with those damn dice?!

"Right, that's it. Now I'm angry." Dust Scout sighes mechanically underneath the worm. Moving carefully, he rolls around and opens up a fold of the nearest segment. Instinctively the worm rolls over to protect it's under skin, right on top of Babylon in a spectacular overwhelming attack, leaving the Dust Scout, sheilds worn but still working, unscathed.

OOC: ehrm, we'll just make that a OVERWHELMING ATTACK by Dust Scout ok?

Hmmm, babylon thinks a he is under the worm. How to get out of this situation. He tries to get to a cannister of water, but just can't reach it. The worm starts to get pretty heavy now. Luckely the sand isn't very dense. babylon is pushed deeper into the sand. Due to live-long meditation, babylon can hold his breath for a very long time. Using his mind he can unscrew the cannister as soon as the cannister is opened water starts to poor out. First a bit, then it gushes out, liters, galloons, enough to fill a midium size swimming pool. babylon thinks to himself: "Allways handy to have a no-field cannister filled with lots of water." The worm tries to get away from the water and rises far above the arena, before dying and falling to the ground. just before falling on top of babylon, again, babylon rolles away and thinks to himself: "Nice DEFENCE, I might say."

Ok, I'll play Dustie's as an overwhelming attack.

Very good! This was Dust and Babylon's 4th round. One round to go!

Will the strange babylonian warrior from the depths of Mesopotamia permemently de-grease Dust Scout? Or will the mighty Dust Scout, the sand trike, mow over the comparatively tiny Babylon like so much...dirt?

exatreides reached inside his armor and pulled out three small starfish looking things he throws the manchuries onto sir sards armor, the creatures would create a highly potent acid that would burn through sir sards armor.

ATTACK

Posted

As ExSPlug is being knockback by the energy blast, he concentrates his mind, waiting for the opportunity to come. D'newt is now rising to midair by the energy blast of the suspensor belt, and soon he reached the peak and starts to descent. At the same time, ExSPlug fell hard on the floor, and casted psi storm. The overwhelming psi storm engulfs D'newt from all sides, there is no escape.

It was supposed to be an overwhelming asttack, yes. I was confused at the time... temporary insanity.

I'm going to eat those rotten dice, they clearly hate me...

Sheilds activated and self-repair completed, Dust Scout stands next to the arena wall, watching Babylon and the falling worm. He sighs mechanically at the loss of the worm, but waits. As it dies, the worm breaks up. As it dissolves, the tiny sandtrout instinctively head for the water source, Babylon. They swamp him at once, driven by the sonic signal-interupting broadcasts of the Dust Scout. 'Even he won't be able to hold his breath while they crush him alive.' Dust Scout thinks smugly. The attack was hardly any work at all.

Well I'm back, and since Frodo hasn't posted yet I'll start :)

The four legged Dragoon plodded forward, scanning the immediate environment for Frodo, the hobbit. He comes to a halt as he sees the hobbit standing but 10 metres away from him. Quickly he arms his one kobalt projectile and fires it at Frodo in an overwhelming attack, hoping to criple the hobbit before he can do to much damage with his little bread knife.

babylon feels the sandtrout crawling and wiggling over his body and continues the symbiose just like Leto did. Dust Scout, not knowing that babylon almost finished this process before entering the arena (brown clothing, shroud, body isn't visible :)) stares at babylon with suprise. Now that the symbiose with sandtrout is complete, babylon can reach enormous speeds. Running towards Dust Scout at an amazing speed he gets another wierd green glowing stick and starts sticking and pounding away. Like a tornado, babylon's COUNTER ATTACK, hits Dust Scout fanaticly.

(OOC: now to start thinking about my finishing move :D)
